This is very laughable jo! When did Oro festival start holding for 15 whole days in the whole of Lagos? So what will happen when already hungry people are made to sit at home for whole 15 days of Oro in Lagos. Would that not be the worst case of ebi n pawa? This is the first that I hear government take all measures to prevent protests. The same leaders in the same government protested to pull down a previous government that did much better than them in 2012. So far it has been threats, coercion and appeal by government. Much as we do not wish to have protests and strikes, government must do the needful by making the country livable for all. We have heard government saying “give us more time”, “we have barely been one year in office”, etc. In those, government policies daily strangulate the citizens. It is only pretenders who tell themselves only that things are getting better. How long more to bear when even tomatoes and yam have become hard to purchase. I thought BAT would first deal with insecurity and food in 2023, as he said that he had spent his life preparing for the Presidency. If he committed plenty of energy into those two since last year, we should be seeing the results by now. Seeing that the same APC government shut the borders in the name of protecting local industries, the failure of that policy is glaring as it massively backfired. Today the cost of rice is ten times what it was when APC took over in 2015. I thought BAT in the interim should have done the needful in the Southern borders to allow us have a massive inflow of food to alleviate the suffering. Here we are today with most of the citizens fed up with poor leadership. For those who think it is tribal, you are simply being mischievous as the hunger does not know tribe. The price of rice is the same nationwide. Favorable policies are for all and not for a selected few. A drop is prices is for all and not a selected few. Government must do something about it. NLC too has been arm twisted to accept a very poor minimum wage. Government must rather than issue threats, address the pressing issues at hand. Nigerians have never experienced hunger on this magnitude. It is unbearable and must be put to an end. 2 Likes 1 Share |

If you don’t mind being sacrificed to the gods, then storm the streets. If you think you can leave Imo or Anambra and tell Kagis indegenes when to worship their gods, then come out that day in the areas designated, you will know why it is the blood of strangers that appease the gods. When Andy Uba and Chris Ngige went Okija shrine to swear to an oath, did Yorubas put mouth? 4 Likes 2 Shares |

If APC and that useless govt introduce another festival in Lag like Shango and obantala festivals, nobody has rights to stop the protest When Christians goes to church on dy, everybody goes about their business without any hindrances and something with Muslim on Friday. Or did that useless oro in Lagos has another construction or country in which they operate 1 Like |

Balistic4: You hate Tinubu for two reasons.. 1) He is far better in politics than all IIGB0S combined because he achieved what no IIGB0S has ever or will ever reach 2) He successfully buried Obi or any IIGB0 political aspiration in Nigeria 8 Likes 2 Shares |

This people want to drag their cultural or religious whatever in the mud. Anytime religion mixes with politics, it is unreal and of no effect. Let them also test waters and maybe they’ll survive from drowning. |
