1. Long standing fuel subsidy scammers : a key demands by the faceless and headless mob is a return to the old subsidy scam regime. You can't be crying on behalf of Dangote and at the same time demanding to a return to subsidy. You will only be empowering the same cabal that own interests in foreign refineries who make another round of profit scheming through the subsidy regime. You remain a bonafide fool to want a subsidy regime that benefits corrupt NNPC criminals who looted our collective wealth to own interests in foriegn refineries that have seen to our state owned refineries not working while denying Damgote's private refinery from having access to crude to refine and at the same time seeing to FX drain and a dearth in local content aka employment in the downstream sector. You remain a real fool to hit the streets on behalf of those who have continued to scam and loot our commonwealth.

2. FX racketeers: This is another set of criminals you are ready to burn down the polity over. The ones who benefited purely from manipulation and speculation of our currency.

3. Lazy importers and money launderers: who used the old FX regime and inner connections to the old CBN under the likes of Emefile to turn Nigeria to a dumping ground thus suffocating our local industries. The criminals involved in drug business , scammers use the importation model to launder their illicit loot using the artificial rated naira to their best interests.

4. The Buhari cabal: One midget of a former governor of a northern state has began recruiting terrorists from the Sahel as he did in 2015 to participate in the upcoming insurection. This politician has everything to lose as he is being indicted for massive fraud and embezzlement by his successor. He will rather see Nigeria burn to the ground than answer to his looting spree.

5. embittered sore losers of IPOB aka Disobedient: the spirit of Zik , Ojukwu and Hoe-Bi is strong with this crowd. The anarcho Marxist mob of delusional idiots claiming reformists who are only concerned in maintaining the Ironsi handed down parasitic status quo

So, if you like be the fool that you are and go hit the streets for these criminals and terrorists.

A lot of what you said makes sense.

However, Tinubu shares some blame for the problem on ground..

For instance, he should have long opened the borders for cheap rice and wheat to flood the market, which would help in bringing down the high food prices.

He has not allowed the CBN to tame inflation by increasing the interest rates high enough. The high inflation rate is what's fuelling the protests.

He has not announced a privatisation and commercialization program which is a must at this stage, considering how bad things are.

The price of petrol needs to be deregulated as that is the only way the subsidy can be gotten rid of. Simply increasing the price for a product whose price is volatile and priced in dollars (with a consistently depreciative Naira), would never get rid of the subsidy.

Tinubu sadly seems more keen on winning a second term rather fixing many problems now. The economy can't wait till 2027!.

The federal government is owing international oil traders $6bn for petrol. That is equivalent to 2.4% of GDP, just in one year! By 2027, multiplied by 4 and you have $24bn, which is 10% of GDP. This is insane. He is even lying through his teeth that the subsidy is gone which is a fat rotten lie.

Tinubu has also not requested politicians to make sacrifices for the country. The VP mansion, the senators fat allowances and so on are still maintained. Just demanding the senators to cut spending by 20% or even 30% would help reduce the anger.

So, because he requested for Tinubu to be jailed and he is against the coming protests makes him a hypocrite is just wild.

Views are always fluid and not stuck in stone.. Have you never heard of swing voters?

Many of you Obi supporters would stone Obi today had he won the elections as the problem Tinubu or anyone would have met was simply mind-blowing. When a country spends over 90% of government revenue servicing debts and there's barely 1 months worth of forex to cover imports, then you know you have a gargantuan problem on hand.

...for your mind, you don talk sense finish. If you are comfortable that a litre if fuel is N800 and subsidy per month is now N700bn. Today, N1600/$. School fees from less than N50k to over N200k. I can go on and on. If all these do not bother you, it simply means youi have sold your soul to the devil.

Why are all these Abado miscreants so worked about a peaceful protest and creating all sorts of nonsense threads trying to guilt trip people.
Omoyele Sowore and a few Northers called for a protest and many Nigerians from all tribes who are tired of the hardship have supported the protest even though many especially from the South East are not ready to take part in it. I'm yet to know of any South Eastern person who has called for a protest except supporting the call already made.

But the Abodo miscreants would leave Sowere and the Northern people calling for the protest to be calling out Peter Obi and trying to paint the protest as orchestrated by the South East people who are mostly uninterested in participating. Yes Peter Obi may have spoken in support of the protest (I'm not even sure of this) and Atiku has also spoken in support of it. But they have not called out Atiku. Are they afraid of him? They have not called out Falana and Sowere. Is it because they are not from the South East?

Why are these people so obsessed with the South East people?

Note: I'm from the South South before you call me IPOB. To these miscreants every person that speaks against this administration's poor governance is IPOB. Even Sowere is IPOB, ESN, Massob, UGM, MTN, FSB. Lol grin grin grin

I won't be protesting as it won't change anything. They have already mobilized their jobless miscreants (with just 1.5k each) to attack the protesters in the name of counter protest. These lazy people who find 1.5k worth their time don't even bother to think that they did not care all these while if they need the paltry 1.5k but only remember them now that people are planning a protest.

The End SARS protest they insisted and swore by their lives that no one died, today they are telling prospective protesters to remember the number of lives that were lost during the End SARS protest. Really? So you now agree that lives were lost? These people can be so shameless.
