spiritismisreal: Am in the position to tell you the story are false because Many of you arrived in Canada last year on visitor visas and could not get an LMIA. Suddenly, they resorted to claiming asylum. These are people I know very well because I warned them ahead of time, and here you are defending it because you are part of the rot and dishonesty we are talking about. Go and ask those you know who arrived or, after more than a year, they are still in Canada visiting Niagara Falls and you cannot silent a warrior like me ,you can go and check my previous post ,l stand for the truth and against selfish act of people like you .....when you took oath to be a Canadian do you not read about right to free speech! He has been told before, maybe he wants someone that will tell him what he wants to hear..that is lies. If you must do this then study route is the way with 21k CAD for living expenses plus school fees. House34: 2 Likes |

If you have BSc with good grades, add 20k CAD to study a Masters in Canada. That's far better than scam LMIA of 40k CAD. Short cut will only cut one short. Maria96: |

Ahhh nawaooo okay in that case what can I do now to fund my bank account should I go to bank and make a loan? quote author=House34 post=131137360] Stating that you sold your property to fund your account specifically for a visitor visa is a red flag. Remember, it's a visitor visa, not a student visa, which could have a long-term impact on your life because selling some property to fund education is usually more accepted. It's important to show that you have a stable financial situation and strong ties to your home country. Selling property just to fund your account for a visitor visa application might raise concerns about your intentions.[/quote] |

Hello, I do not know if this question has already been answered but I just need urgent clarification I am traveling from Abuja to Toronto, via lufthansa but transiting through Frankfurt and Paris. I hold both a Canadian Visa and an American Visa. Do I still need a Transit Visa. All responses are highly appreciated. Thank you |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 7:07am On Jul 26 |
Miide2: You need a transit visa with your Canada and USA visas since you are traveling through more than one Schengen country (france, germany)as a Nigeria passport holder |

It's a simple answer to declare, so far you can defend it and show you have proof of your relationship. Go ahead Sholzyy: |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 10:39am On Jul 26 |
hayatou27: Sure, you can invest your money in market investments. . As a visitor visa applicant, you can use your money; just make sure the bank statement you submitted is from the bank. The embassy could directly ask the bank if the statement you provided to support your application was indeed issued by them as you claimed in your application. Even if they ask for an updated account, an investment in the money market also shows you have access to the funds. Please, do not leave your money idle in the account if you can invest it to make more profit because the visa process can take six months or longer! 3 Likes 1 Share |

You didn't need to liquidate the monies in your money market investment. Just obtain an investment letter from the company addressed to the Canadian Embassy. I did same when i applied for our Visa hayatou27: 1 Like |

erudite37: I'm just seeing this tag because it's be long I visited nairaland. I am hopeful that you were able to sort this issue out. Nevertheless, if you still need an answer; send a copy of the renewed passport through webform to IRCC. Send it like 5 times. Then proceed to submit the original copy with other required documents to VFs global for the visa stamping. 2 Likes |

Sholzyy: A cousin is the child of your aunt or uncle. In other words, your cousin is the son or daughter of one of your parent's siblings. Even if you don't have photos, gather other documents to support your application. You can also draw a family tree in your letter of support (a family tree is a simple diagram of how you are related). Ask your cousin to write an invitation letter including her birth certificate ,Pr card or passport if a citizen. The letter should include her contact information, details about your visit, and a statement about your relationship.

Draw a family tree and indicate cousin relationship where maiden surnames could be the same or current surname. Add proof of the above along stuffs like birth certificate and acceptable IDs. Your cousin can also write a letter to IRCC on your behalf Rach86: 1 Like |

House34: My spouse also got his PPR and I want to apply for VV for myself and daughter. Pls how long does the visit visa last? Is it a 6months time frame or I can stay as long as it's valid? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Jeboy(m): 8:33am On Jul 27 |
You need to be patient with the long process (6months) as I am also in your WhatsApp group. Hope you attached all your biz/job that supports home ties.? Hope u had good balance on your account statement? Hope u shared assets that showed you are established in your home country? Hope u shared her accommodation contract that shows where you ll be staying when you visit her and Hope you made her send a letter of invitation to IRCC showing consent and your approval to visit.? I would also love to know the reasons you were denied SOWP just to see if those reasons have been treated and not a threat to your visit to your madam. richieway: |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 10:15am On Jul 27 |
Alwaysachick: If your spouse is not a master’s or PhD student, you will only get a visitor visa. However, your daughter can get a visitor record inside Canada that will allow her to stay based on the duration of your spouse’s study permit. you can only stay for a maximum of six months on a visitor visa. You can extend it, but you cannot work, so be careful. Staying 6 month and unnecceary extension might affect your chances of getting a one or three-year open work permit when your spouse qualifies for a PGWP, depending on the length of studies after completing the program. Plan ahead on how to get a SOWP when your spouse graduates and tell ur spouse to start considering the PR route now. 1 Like |
