LegacyB: You know nothing about hunger for money and power. It's insatiable...only God can satisfy. And Tinubu obviously is not a man of God. |

Kukutenla: Yes, the man tinubu is lying. At the end, it does not pay to believe a nigerian politican. Especially the lot in charge. People like you misunderstand me, because you want cheap things....and you think I am denying you of your right to cheap things. Anyway, |

Kukutenla: God bless you for restating the Focus of the subject matters ,so that we don't divert attention to something else. But people like me are not even moved by Tinubu's non- committal to fight Corruption in most of these govt entities.e g what has happened to Beta Edu- but govt have been dragging on the issues of Corruption! So, sacking the Entire NNPC,DISCOS,etc is just a mirage in Nigeria, yet this is what NIGERIANS are expecting. Same manner, for other Politicians, especially the Dubai Landlords -as they are just after their own Selfish Interests, different from the Masses Interest of getting 3- square Meals per day! |

Re: Africa’s Richest Man Versus Nigerian Government Is Uncharted Territory by wildwest22: 7:50pm On Jul 26 |
So because Tinubu's nephew Wale is the owner of Oando which took over NNPC, they now want to squeeze the life out of Dangote. This won't play well for the nation, if this can be done to Africa's richest man, in his home country, what then will happen to foreign firms. |

Kukutenla: What was the year 1929 in the USA and the year 1931 in Germany and England if not a giant breakdown? The working class was not prepared for this. It did not have a Lenin, who awaited and worked towards such a moment. Rather, for decades it heard from Hilferding and Helene Bauer that a breakdown was impossible. Only such a disorientation of the working class made it possible for the ruling class to overcome the panic and to survive the breakdown.” – Henryk Grossman |

nairalanda1: Lol... Abeg o I don't dislike dangote, he didn't do anything to me. I don't like him either, he didn't do anything for me. I'm just reacting to the part you talked about government employing delay tactics because fuel price would be increased for the masses. You didn't specify, so I wrongly interpreted as being the government looking out for us. Now you've clarified it's for votes. I'd add that in addition to votes, there are personal and corrupt based reasons for the delay tactics, if it will be called that. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigeria cannot supply Dangote more than 200,000 crude oil per day out of about 1.6 million barrels she can currently produce unless the Government wanted to break some contracts. Nigerian government had been borrowing so huge for about 30 years and more critical since about 20 years ago. The agreement was to pay with crude. When IOC's have taken their own crude to service and pay back our debts which is about 1.2 million barrels per day. The rest 300,000 barrels per day will be shared between modular refineries and Dangote. The 300,000 barrels meant to be shared had been sold upfront till October 2424 by Buhari government and the money had been spent NNPC. and government had been keeping this secret for so long especially the huge some Buhari government borrowed from across the world. Tinubu who stupidly bragged that his government will not borrow a kobo end up borrowing when it is clear to him that there is no money to pay workers SO NIGERIA ECONOMY HAD BEEN MORTGAGED FOR AT LEAST THE PAST 20 YEARS. Now Dangote too had to bear the brunt because he benefited from loan windfall. THE RICH ALSO CRY 1 Like 1 Share |

Start your own refinery and cement factories and ask for waivers. Many of You are just full of envy and jealousy. Your jealousy should not blind You to the economic benefits of Dangote's businesses:employment for many Nigerians, taxes to federal and state governments, strenghtening the naira through his import substitution efforts etc Meanwhile the NNPC people attacking Dangote should tell us why all the government owned refineries are not working after billions of dollars have been spent on them. helinues: |

chiiraq802: I don't know why you people keep calling him a monopoly, when BUA and Honeywell are direct competitors and Dangote never stopped anyone from investing in any of the segments he dominates. Having larger market share is not monopoly. The man should be commended for having the balls to invest in a corrupt nation, creating jobs and paying taxes. Your other billionaires take their money offshore to enrich foreigners or buy luxury properties. |
