We often hear about 200 to 300 bandits coming out brazenly to kidnap people....but our gallant troops pick off the random lone bandit or two, and release press releases celebrating their success at curtailing banditry. At this rate they'll definitely eradicate them by 2070.

Looking for soft taket to claim winnings.
As Biafran forces are neutralizing the Nigerian terrorist across Biafra states, in order to stay relevant Nigeria security media unit are working hard with propaganda to divert people's attention from real scores in ongoing matches for freedom.

What if they declared operations against motorbike riders or recruiting bike riders from the north into six months gun training then send them to join hands for gun shooting against Biafra forces!

The police is active these days. It means we have an active IGP. It means Tinubu is handling insecurity well. He promised to handle insecurity and he is doing it well. Once Tinubu handle the current hardship then he qualifies for second term. That's why I voted for a competent man. Obi would have been busy by now blaming Buhari if he had won. Someone that couldn't turn Anambra to Lagos wanted to turn Nigeria to Dubai. Clown !

Meanwhile...

Yesterday 26 July 2024, there was very heavy afternoon traffic outbound on Osbourne/Kingsway Road heading to 3rd Mainland Bridge. A stretch or road that should have taken just a few minutes to pass through ended up taking over 2 hours - all because of some maintenance work being done on the bridge.

Fair enough.

Traffic was orderly although it was frustrating to wait that long in very slow moving traffic. Suddenly, from nowhere some soldiers appeared on the road and one of them started harrassing motorists for no reason. undecided After stopping a LAWMA truck in a clear attempt to intimidate the driver and extort money from him, this soldier then turned his attentions to other vehicles - leading to a long line of vehicles at complete standstill. Instead of providing a solution, this so called 'soldier' became part of the problem.undecided

This is why there will always be criticism of Nigerian soldiers - because it is hugely justified. Nigerian soldiers have no business directing traffic. It isn't their job. The NPF and LASTMA (or whatever the relevant state traffic management agency is called) are trained to do this job - and not the military. Traffic management is not army work!!

That unkempt 'soldier' on duty yesterday on the 3rd mainland bridge is a disgrace to professional soldiers worldwide.
