Even steals from the graves.
Now stealing Igbo songs.

Every tribe in Nigeria has its own stories and if you compare them together you would find many of it quite similar so it isn't about stealing Igbo songs

My great grand father, The Great Ikuku Mmuo used to tell us this story and many other stories when I was little.
He told me how africans were so close and inseparable with nature in time past that they communicated with the earth, animals, trees and all lived in harmony...
The white man came with corruption, greed, disunity, diseases, and their religion to create enemity between brothers who slept in the same womb of mother Africa.
I kid you not, even one particular British historian who was here during the colonial era alluded to what your great grand father said, and in his journal he wrote this:
" I think that it is possible that igboland's dibia were developing real skills---or sciences --- in sphere of what we would now call extra sensory perception. The imposition of colonial rule has basically put an end to these skills, and deflected Igbo intellectual energies into such 'modern' spheres as medicine or physics. It is possible that in doing so it cut off a real and original advance of human mind, and impoverished the total development of human knowledge"

There were many folklores in igboland...

These kind of folklores groomed the kind of story writers we later have to become recognized international standards.

Powerful story writers like Chinua Achebe, Cyprian ekwensi, Christopher okigbo, chimamanda Adichie, Buchi emecheta, Flora nwapa, Elechi Amadi et al were all groomed by these kind of folktales being told by there parents and grandparents and thus they became international acclaimed writers.

Mike ejeagha only carved his niche of the same folklore stories through his music.

Sadly, the folklore stories is eroding fastly in Igboland as cartoons and other children online programs has replaced it...

No wonder we now produce Dancers, musicians and actors at the expense of Story writers we were once acknowledged with
Elechi Amadi is not Igbo please

I intend to write a comic in manga style set in a quasi modern time that would incorporate the Igbo folklore themes and characters and the Igbo Ọdinani. Hope to use it to revive our awareness and consciousness of who we are before things fell apart.

Actually it is not that Yoruba have theirs

This is a plagiarism call out and direct claim of cultural appropriation

Don't twist it

Simple question
Is there any where Ibos recorded this story and on what date?
Nothing wrong in saying you adapted a Yoruba story

But the theme of a tortoise deceiving an elephant into capture came from somewhere?

Show us any book where this story is recorded by an Ibo before now
Nonsense. You expect me to be dragged into this your childish argument? It's very clear now that you are pained. Bros go and rest. No one cares
Don't expect further response. This one will suffice. Have a nice day

You need to understand the music before the gwo gwo gwo ngwo would make sense.

It was rhetorically implied in his story to mimic the steps of Elephant. It makes lots of sense if you understand Igbo language.

Don't bother to respond to these guys. They know you what they are doing. Trying to drag you into an argument about the Yorubas telling this story first

Emotions will change nothing
You can call it childish
Changes nothing

The theme
Tortoise deceiving elephant and leading him into captivity

My assertion is
It is worth doing a literature search to see where that theme came from

It is not likely to have been developed separately independently
It certainly moved
Either from A to B or

B to A
Or from C to A. and B

It might not even be Nigerian theme
The issue is honest objective inquiry not emotions
To the best of my knowledge it is well documented in Yoruba written material for decades
Even the late Sikiru Ayinde sang about it
So it is not new
It is a legitimate question to ask about the original source
Nothing childish besides your churlish response
