Same way many clamored for local coach in the form of Finidi till they saw the effect and kept quiet.

At least Zambia can score goals. Our own can't pass accurately. They can't trap the ball. They can't score
You didn't watch the match and about Zambia how's leading with 5 goals and losing looks to you

Sir Love, there's no point engaging any maniac that's not making logical sense. The girls did their best and a needless freekick undid the team. Not sure we can still make it but hey we have nothing to lose anyway.
I feel Toni also let the team down, yes she rán and hustle a lot but she didn't help the team move the ball forward at all.

I won't be engaging anyone making illogical points. We had the best chances all game.

Read that again, we have better chances than Spain did. We were just unlucky and didn't score.

In qualification, funny thing is we can still qualify. If we score 2 goals against Japan we can finish second or third in the group.

Your response was on point.
You know, you always have trolls that come here and spew a lot of arrant nonsense, especially when our ladies lose a nail biter, like this one against the reigning World Champions!
Immature, uniformed people who just want to be heard, in spite of continuously making illogical sense.
Please, let them have their 2 secs of fame. They will disappear as fast as they came here shortly.

Yes we did have some great chances but nnà men, we were under pressure almost throughout the game. The offside goal was really close!!!! I remember a couple of near misses Spain had with the ball just inches wide.

We held our own against the world champs.

this is the problem of Nigeria, for Nigeria, with Nigeria and by Nigeria...

there's nothing like been unlucky.. Humans are meant to create their own luck and take their chances and Super Falcons did not take their chances.. and if SF had taken their chances you won't be doing maths to see if SF can qualify...

go and listen to Eminem's songs like Lose Yourself and Not Afraid..

you have to Lose Yourself and make most of the opportunities that come your way and Not Afraid of overcoming your drawbacks..

Also listen to Till i Collapse..

If you watch this match and you feel another African team would’ve done better against this Spain, may your generation never amount to nothing, waste upon waste go be their own.

I’ve always criticized this team, but judging by what i saw at the last world cup and what am still seeing, these girls don’t deserve any form of bashing after losing by whiskers to World class teams. Yet some idiots are still criticizing them, what else do you want? Make dem die?

That wasn't a tight angle..

A right footed striker or double footed will easily score that chance

All she had to do was move the ball to the right or move the ball to her right leg but she's too left footed..

That's what caused her to miss against Brazil... she played the ball with her left foot back towards the GK instead of away...

if she was more skillful with her left foot she could have done a trivela round the keeper.

Anyway I think it’s high time we do away with the likes of Ifeoma Onumonu, Uchenna Kanu, Chiwendu Ihezuo and co upfront as they ain’t living up to expectations..

We need the kind of Barbara Banda, Racheal Kundananji kind of forwards who can run with the ball, use their individual brilliance to help the team upfront.

Our Forward play used to be dominated by Speedy, physical and skillful players.

Banda doesn’t just have the Speed, she can Finnish as well. In this Women’s game Speed help a lot. The Coaching Crew should go and do a Proper scouting to get Speedy Wingers that can deliver…

Even the current U20 right now can’t boost of such players. Poor and Biased Selection everywhere.

Men if we can get a Banda king of forward in our flank to add to Ajibade I don’t think we would struggle this much, because as you’re trying to curtain Ajibade, she doing her own on the other flank. While a No.9 that can Finnish is needed.

Ifeoma Onumonu has no business in the team right now, she’s off!

If we had good strikers we will be on top of the group with 6 points now. If it was now we had prime Oshoala, we would be top 20 in the world because I don't see that team in the world that can beat us ruthlessly again.

Put Banda in this team now and we'll be unstoppable! One werey go wan come insult the girls.

Simple truth, put Banda or any of the Chawinga Sisters then we’re good to go.. The likes of Esther Okoronkwo, Rinsola Babajide can serve as Subs..!

Our attack that’s known for pace and power is dead which is what Zambia have right now.

Which is the point I was making days ago that some folks were arguing. Nigeria traditional gets our strikers from our age grade team and we get them into the team at a very young age.

Asisat, Oparanozie, Ajibade, Ordega etc all came from u17/u20 directly into the falcons because they were exceptional at that age. Now we have killed our age grade teams for politics. This isn't just peculiar to the falcons, it's the same with the super eagles.

not just good strikers but intelligent players and coaches...

When Ajibade was 1 on 1 from the right there was no SF player on the other wing attempting a run to create the option for Ajibade to pass..

same thing when ihezuo was 1 on 1 there was no player making a run forward on the wing to create the option for ihezuo to pass...

SF players just stood hoping Ajibade or ihezuo will score...

Anytime Spain was running forward or through with the ball there were always 2 Spanish players on the other wings creating options to pass...

it is painful because when you see the chances they missed it will occur to you that Super Falcons should be topping this group easily and already through to the QF..

I swear, Randy Waldrum still has some work to do on those players, he's good, they're good, they just need a little out of the box thinking AND a good striker still to finish building a world beater!

Ihezuo ✅ 🆚 Brazil
Oshoala ✅ 🆚 Spain (had a good game tho)
Time for Macleans to come on 🆚 Japan with Oshoala too, on the wings, maybe something good can happen at the front.

I expected Macleans to come on instead of ihezuo.. when ihezuo missed that chance against Brazil I told myself if I was the coach that will be her last match as CF at least and I would bench her for this game against Spain...

Now she has also missed against Spain that means for me that's her last match for the SF...

her shots are too tame and she acts timid in front goal... how she became a striker is what I don't understand..

even Ajibade that should have shot the ball was doing finesse shot.. instead of shooting with her big toe and front of her boots....
