SULBELL:Football is not an originally African sports. It's an acquired knowledge and we don't have the schools or the football culture to churn out new tactics and styles. The best we can do is to adapt what already works. I can understand weightlifting, but definitely not football. |

MrJames007: It's a bad group because all the teams in the group have a better team than our team and that will make it difficult to qualify for d next stage. The results so far have proven that. Are India and Seychelles participating in the women's football in the Olympics? Which other girls are you asking if they have 4 legs? |

Spain are the world champion, so it was going to be diffficult anyway. I felt the attack improved in the technical aspect because in the previous match against Brazil, only Ajibade looked technical in the attack. The likes of Oshoala and Okoro joining Ajibade in the attack improved the attack in the technical aspect against Spain and were able to fashion out few chances on few occasions. The only thing was they weren't clinical on the few occasions they had a chance in front of the goal. In the midfield though, the midfield focused more on defensive play and didn't link much with the attack. That said, is this the end though? Or is there still a chance against Japan? 🤔 The group is a tough group tbh. |

lexy2014:I meant if you wanted 9ja to be in a group of weak teams. Brazilian and Spanish girls that won them don't have 4 legs. They need to do better. Being in a difficult group shouldn't be an excuse, man. |

If I'm NFF president I won't even put interest in the Olympics for the falcon with Nigeria in same group with Spain and Brazil Do you know when these ladies have been playing football? That Nigeria is not conceding more than 1 goal is a challenge to Brazil and spain 3 Likes 1 Share |

Fearyourcreator:Truth more like a well calculated setup, I still give the Falcons some credit, two separate 1-0 lose against the best of teams is quiet commendable, imagine super eagles against the best of best male teams, would have been total whitewashing. |

MrJames007: Are India and Seychelles participating in the women's football in the Olympics? Yes or no Who said anything about excuse? The reality in sports is that some teams are better than some teams. That is not an excuse. That is the reality. Qualification to a next round is made more difficult meeting such teams. No matter how good young boys of Switzerland is for instance, they would never fancy being grouped with real Madrid, Bayern Munich and say mancheater city in champions league |

lexy2014:Haha na u be dat. If I were a professional footballer, I wouldn't be afraid to play against any teams. The same way they got to that level, nothing should stop me and my team from reaching that level. Our football teams (M/F) are not just good. That's it. And No! Those two countries are not in the football game. Even if they were participating, I wouldn't have fancied 9ja to be in the same group with them cuz they are weak teams. Let them face their mates! |
Re: Nigeria Women Vs Spain Women: Olympic Games (0 - 1) On 28th July 2024 by lexy2014: 10:13am On Jul 29 |
MrJames007: no be me be that. like i said earlier that is the reality. you said "If I were a professional footballer, I wouldn't be afraid to play against any teams", reality is that you are not a footballer so you cant say for sure what you would have done or not done. if you have that boldness as you claim, are you the best in your chosen field? from your primary, the reality is that some kids were always better than other kids in maths, english and sports. the question is why did yo not come first when other kids were coming first? lets start from there. since you say that "Our football teams (M/F) are not just good. That's it." not entirely true. our female team qualified. they were not handed qualification. so too an extent, they are good. but just same way everybody cant be on the same level in mathematics in school, is the same way every team cant be on the same level in a sport. if not there will be no winner. its just the reality |

MrJames007: how will Japan finish them completely? what was the score against brazil and spain? you said "If I were a professional footballer, I wouldn't be afraid to play against any teams", reality is that you are not a footballer so you cant say for sure what you would have done or not done. if you have that boldness as you claim, are you the best in your chosen field? from your primary school to tertiary, the reality is that some kids were always better than other kids in maths, sciences, english and sports. the question is why did yo not come first when other kids were coming first? lets start from there. |
