How can you call it theft, while the people in government are the real thieves. Can any small scale business cope with this high cost of tariff. Is it not wickedness. How do you encourage SMES? Let’s be realistic without tribalism

Electricity theft and bypass is not new. Even from the days of meter reading, it was happening. Its effective because NEPA Officials are also part of it. It maybe worse now because of the high cost of electricity tarriff

And they want this country to be better. Both dubious leaders and fraudulent followers.

Nigerians in the Diaspora will not dare do this.

Electricity in poor neighbouring Benin Republic is over N600 per KwH.

Average cost in European countries is 40 cent per KwH. That is N700 per kilo watt hour.

Nigeria is at N220 per KwH and some saboteurs are already gaming the system. How will there be electricity when there is no revenue?

On the other hand you shout of hunger (in a country filled with vaste fertile land), protest of bad leaders. How will the country get better? How?

Failed country loading.....

Somalia will be a child's play.

Normal things are never normal in this country.
Nigeria will need a pioneer to reintroduce it's own special Education, Law, Religion, Economy, Government etc tailored specifically toward it's local citizens leaning before anything can work in these country.
All these Oyinbo follow copy can never work as far as common Nigerians are concerned!

Is the light not belongs to the country, do you know how much money is budgeting for power year in year out without anything to show? Will the starving people have the money to pay amid the tariff increase? Where are the Yahaya Bello and Emefiele that stole billions of dollars? Why are some heartless people behave as if the light is their father's property?

Please, I need your help Sir/Ma.

My name is Olaoluwa. I am 32 years old and an O-Level holder. I had a car accident last year, lost my job, and became jobless for months.

OP,the Summary is that both the Users of illegal Connections and the Top Managers and Management of DISCOS are in collaboration, for no one dare go through the Power Sector, without the knowledge of the Sector.
The best the government can do is to Dismantle the whole DISCOS.
What Corruption has done to DISCOS in Nigerian -is why Everyday you can't he 24/7 Lights.
DISCOS,like NNPC are the reasons why we can't move forward.

Are you kidding me? 220 million Nigerians buy transformer, poles, pre paid meter?

When I bought my meter, I got electricity credit as refund. Its how the system works.

If electricity theft is what you sow, you will certainly reap everlasting darkness !

No short-cut to economic development.
