I disagree with this.

While we are buying fuel for N568 at NNPC's official pump price in the south, they have buying for close to N700 in the north. Only God knows how much they will be buying it now.

There is serious hardship in this country and the northerners are actually worse hit.

Nigeria is an import dependent country where most imported goods gets to the south berths in the south before being transported down the north. The transportation cost and multiple taxation in form of "settling" security operatives on the road has already made some tems out of the reach of common man.

For example, if we in Lagos are complaining about the cost of car tyres, spare parts, engine oil, etc....What do u think the cost will be in the north after those parts are transported to the north?

I don't even understand why Pro-government groups and supporters are pretending as if all is well in the country and that the people crying hardship are just mischief makers. shocked

Thunder will fire any northerner that steps out to protest. All these you said was happening during Buhari's time and they kept mute.

Na now them wan wake.

Maybe u are right, maybe not.

Dollar was 770 in the Black market and PMS sold for 189 (NNPC pump price) when Buhari left. We all know what the prices are today and the multiplier effects they had on goods and services

It is normal for people like Ndume to wail because of selfish interest na, but sacking of someone like Kyari is actually justifiable aswear.

Anytime there's fuel scarcity, the guy will just release one yeye press release that doesn't even address the cause of the scarcity. He will just be using ambigious terms.

Just look at how the head of secret service in America was asked to resign for the incompetence of his subordinates. That's how people holding sensitive positions like Kyari ought to be held accountable

I agree.

They had some cracking shots in this episode.

Tbe opening scene on the beach was great. The scene where Rhaenyra puts her hand out to command Vermithor was fΓΌcking flames. The scene where she turns around to address the ambitious bastards with Vermithor lurking behind her like a a roided-up demon from a Mike Bamiloye movie was even more incredible.

Then this shot in the final scene as the piece de resistance. Mehn chef's kiss.

That Episode 7 too cold. I hope they give us a better final season 2 episode.

True that everything is worse now but those people endured 8 years of Buhari nightmare but only one year of Tinubu's administration, they are claiming to have had it up to their neck.

Other regions can protest, but you see northerners, they are big hypocrites.

Typical Northerners. Whenever a Southerner is President they find their voice when a Northerner is President protest becomes Haram. The same things they were doing under GEJ.

I really don't know when those people plan on having sense. Born to rule mentality, they can be perishing in penury but so long a Hausa/Fulani is President they are content.

They've ruled Nigeria the longest and they are still the most backward and under developed part of Nigeria and still they won't learn

At the markets and at the gas station do the sellers ask for their religion or political affiliation before selling goods and services. People don't think

What can I say?

It is the will of Allah

The annoying thing is I have a lot of Northern Muslim friends and acquaintances and a lot of them do not reason this way. I wonder why the rest of them act like this.

How can you fail to understand that a rising tide will lift all boats?

It's complex because the educated and refined ones are really good people, some of the most loyal you would meet. That's why I refrain from group condemnation most of the time

However the core ones their reasoning can be crazy sometimes cos I've seen both sides and also visited the North. They just don't put the same premium on life that we do.

Even for preventable deaths they will tell you it's the will of Allah and that talk dey always piss me off, it also reflects in the quality of life they are willing to accept. Their grumblings this time even for a Southern president that happens to be 'muslim' have been unusually loud though. Maybe truly water don pass garri
