I recently just bumped into these old phones we used back early 20's

Nokia 2700 to be precise, I just wanted to see how the old apps still functions, but I go to notice that the web browser is working but apps like opera mini and Facebook won't connect to the Internet.

Any ideas?

ur locations? try to "rewrite pm" flashing back to manufacturing setting

Na WA o,no stress this palasa with internet,just enjoy the radio, calculator and calling jejely.

I got this phone 13k around 2011/ 2012 ,Im not precisely sure tho. That 13k then go be like 100k now😅.Naira don suffer

13k then should be about 100 dollars. using today's rate, that is roughly 160k now.

luckily got them for as low as 14k each

na this phone I carry do 2go that year, RIP mendie, the guy that sold it to me.
How were you able to keep it this long

Facebook and Opera mini have long deprecated services and support for old devices and operating systems. That phone may not support the API connections, encryption protocols and SSL certificates that modern day apps need to work effectively.

Same reason why Chrome will not work on Windows 7 or WhatsApp on older generation OSes.

if browser can work, then operamini 4. handler should work.

If am out of data, and I need to access nairaland, I use operamini handler for android to access this site for free..

Me, I need Symbian phone with wifi, maybe I can try my I.p cheats once again... Good old times

Just download operamini handler 4.3 or so..

Try downloading opera for mobile, it looks like the opera app u are using is outdated
