Great.. the same law they are claiming gave them right to protest is same law (court) restricting their activities..

Next is to arrest and prosecute anybody caught blocking roads or disturbing public peace in the State.

Joke of a century

Let's take a bet, people will protest in Ogun state tomorrow

Judiciary losing relevance

The judge who deliver this judgement should be ashamed of him or herself

Trying to suppress angry people by force will less to more anarchy

What I expected the government to do is ensure there's no breakdown of law and order but j don't expect less from people of fraudulent past

Theis kind of senseless judgment makes citizen becomes lawless because they see judiciary as a joke

I WILL BE HERE TOMOROW TO LAUGH AT THE STUPIDITY OF OGUN STATE JUDICIARY

Tomorrow no far again.

We will know if the order will work 🤣🤣

Well, the leaders simply can't allow Endsars happen again...!

That was perilously close to a bloody national revolution. Even Buhari was truly shocked to the marrow.

It's just sad that these leaders can't understand and accept the need to lay aside their greed and corruption, and actually get the nation working.

They keep playing with fire, thinking the people will remain cowardly, docile and too divided to revolt.

They forget that REVOLUTIONS like the Arab Spring and the one in France happened without warning or planning.

I believe the courts acted appropriately in this case, as long as there are designated protest areas, given the legitimate concerns about potential riots or violence.

It's your choice to follow the order or not. If you protest anyway else, them you have yourself to be blame for the consequences

I think you should screenshot that part of the constitution and send it to Ekpa and his boys making your parents hide at home every Mondays in the South East.. Let them know what the constitution says about free movement of citizens as you claim.

Go and disobey court judgement first and claim one constitution said you can misbehave.. Seems you're tired of your freedom.

No one has the right to tell any citizen not to protest, it's their constitutional right. If you don't want to protest please keep that to yourself and allow others to exercise their right. When they come online begging for alms we snob them but we don't known the pains some people are going through just to survive the present hardship

The courts in Nigeria along with ECOWAS courts proved by way of indictments that the Government of Nigeria was responsible for the security failure and issues that took place during the EndSars protest. Those who have been indicted by the courts and ECOWAS should be restricted, not the protestors.. undecided

What makes Tinubu & South West Governors think that they could get away with trampling on the Constitutional Rights of the Citizens, whom they should be really afraid of?

It's proven, nay somewhat empirical, that South West is the hub of human rights abuses, regrettably even with Kangaroo courts orders which are against the Supreme Constitution of the country!

Remind us again, the lyrics of the OLD Cum NEW National Anthems & Pledges! South West is gone! Do these SW Guvs know that anarchy might loom if & when the God-given rights of the people are trampled upon? Haven't they learnt any lessons yet?

It is better for court to do its work than one useless Ekpa from Finland to be giving orders to your parents on how to live their lives like staying at home on Monday or is that not against the constitution? And why do you obey?
Re: Court Restricts #EndBadGovernance Protesters In Ogun by Omoyorubatooto: 4:49pm On Jul 31
Please why do we have many fools citing their rights to protest in the constitution but they never cited the same to one useless Simon Ekpa who has been giving them orders to stay at home every Monday? Is that order not against the constitutions? Oh it is easy to obey Ekpa than the courts? Hahahaha Wonders shall never end

It's a valid court ruling; if you disagree, you can take it to court. I support protests but we must ensure they don't lead to chaos, violence, or damage to public or private property.
