tommaitwears: I would like to add that her total credits for d 6months is about 8m nd expenditure is about 7m because money we send to her and credit from her shop enters same account. So my question is 1) should I tell her to open a separate account and do all those transactions there since the eco could not determine how much her income is from d job. 2) after transacting should she pay herself whatever is left into her personal account ? Which we her children would also send upkeep to? NOTE: she won’t be sponsoring herself in her visa it would be fully sponsored 3) paying herself her profit for the month I hope it isn’t bad cuz it only enters monthly so her personal account won’t be busy again? 4) in my next application, do I need to submit the two account statements or just d personal one |

Greeting everyone! I am a public servant ,worked in one of the government parastal with a monthly salary of 550,000 , but inMay my leave bonus fee was paid along with my salary resulting in a higher credit for that month, In this July, my productive bonus was also paid along with my salary causing another increase in credit. The questions is , how will I explain these salary credit |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by ozymes: 11:59am On Jul 31 |
If you actually work in the government parastal, your detailed payslips should indicate all these payments, so I do not see any issues here. Princessadedayo: |

Hello all, hope you're well. I wish you the very best in your application! Pls I need a little clarification. I read some of the pages of this thread but didn't see the part that clarifies: 1. Should my company address the letter of introduction to the UK embassy? If yes, to what department in the embassy or to whom. The letter states what my company does, who I am, my role at the company and what date I expect to return back and resume work. 2. Should I date the letter or leave it without date. 3. The inflow and outflow of funds in my account since the beginning of this year averages 4m - 8m per month. But I rarely leave money in it, it's either in my savings app or it's used for business. But as I begin my application I want to deposit some amount to sit in the account till I apply (as proof of funds). I don't know if that is advised. Thank you. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by GodGraceOnly: 5:19pm On Jul 31 |
Obidikejr: When is comes to statement of account, don’t just put up and explanation letter of the transactions in your account. Make sure you also attach receipt or investment or whatever document to backup your claims. Let there be evidence. They work with evidence to know the source of the money . |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by GodGraceOnly: 5:37pm On Jul 31 |
tommaitwears: Simply address why she was refused and reapply for her. You can be her sponsor and still attach her own statement and business type Include her pictures with your siblings in nigeria and your dad and also her marriage certificate. You can include some assets for her too if she has. Those things will serve as family ties. Attach hotel and return flight ticket reservation for her too. But the most thing to do is to address the reason for her previous refusal. |

GodGraceOnly: Thanks for your prompt response. Sincerely appreciate. I have a challenge with this. I and my brother run the company I am a director in and I get paid monthly. I have assembled all the transactions from January till Date. And only January, February and June payments has a direct link from the company official account to my personal account. The other months, the bros sent the money from his personal account to me March payment was done from company's account but the description read "LOAN REPAYMENT" and It wasn't any loan o. He said he wrote it so the amount won't be taxable Incase FIRS enquires. What are you thoughts about this? Anyway I can navigate this? Is the January, February and June, August (incoming) be sufficient enought to proof funds? Thank you. Anyone else in the thread with an opinion on this should kindly inform. Thanks. |

1. As a company director, should I use letter head from my company in the letter of intro? 2. Should I address the letter to the UK embassy or just write without? 3. Should I date the letter ? Thank you. Thank you for your prompt responses! |

Good evening all, My appointment was 11th July till now I have not gotten any response. Yesterday there was an attempt to withdraw $20 from my card by booking.com and i cancelled. What effect will my action have on my visa issuance as i cancelled on the grounds that my visa is not out yet so no need to start debiting me. Now I am confused. More than 15 days after and I have not gotten any response. Please help or advice on possible reason |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by tommaitwears: 8:34pm On Jul 31 |
GodGraceOnly: Thank you. But I would like to know about her business regarding bank statement. Because in her previous application I submitted her personal statement because she doesn’t have a business account. So the refusal you said I should address is what I don’t know how to address. If you could kindly take a look at my write up and refusal to explain what I could do to me. I would really appreciate. Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 8:57pm On Jul 31 |
tommaitwears: It's a bit dicey. She cannot pay herself a monthly salary that is not sustainable. The idea is to pay herself a realistic monthly salary from income generated by her business. There is no point paying herself a monthly salary that will not tally with the revenue generated by her business. My advise is for her to determine a reasonable amount that she can defend if push comes to shove - and pay herself same amount, same time every month. I hope I make sense? Good luck! |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 8:58pm On Jul 31 |
tommaitwears: She needs to seperate her personal and business transactions. Her business transactions need to go to a business account. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 9:01pm On Jul 31 |
Princessadedayo: Explain in the additional information section. You can also get a letter from your organization to highlight your earnings and add your payslips if they are reflected in your payslip |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 9:02pm On Jul 31 |
Damlovey: The transactions she carried out on your behalf will be calculated as part of her monthly expenses. Invariably, the N150,000 you calculated might not be accurate from their standpoint... |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 9:12pm On Jul 31 |
tommaitwears: Monthly income = N100,000 Monthly expense = N50,000 Disposable income = N50,000 However, the visa officer says the inflow and outflow in the account don't tally with the information provided and summarized above. Your Mum needs to seperate her personal and business transactions. It causes and has caused issues for a lot of people! |
