Ok!

You don't have any Obi events to post today?

Obidients never do meeting again or dem never build beautiful borehole finish to whitewash the ugly one?

I discuss issues as a politically aware Nigerian, and support the best candidate who can deliver. I research political history and bring information into the current discourse.

Unlike you, I do not belong to a single political party or political discussion group. I do not post political events that a politician just attended, or post discussions from a political WhatsApp group. We know you are part of the political troupe following your principal about.

So you are the political urchin here, not me who make my money outside of politics in a very technical field.

Continue making your political money, but stop scoring own-goals like this topic that reminds Nigerians how President Tinubu fought for their democratic rights.

Jubilations in your own crazy and warped mind

trutharena:
Jubilations all over Nigeria as President TINUBU stands firm for the rights of citizens! A true leader prioritizing peace and safety.

Good to have a pro-democracy activist like Tinubu as President.

As we have been informed, the Tinubu government has promised not to deploy the army like OBJ, Jonathan, or Buhari did when they were in power.

Even the Police Force has been very civil with its engagement of the leaders of the protest in a way Nigerians have never experienced, and have promised to provide adequate security to keep everyone safe during this period.

The OP has helped to remind all Nigerians that we have a man who had the courage to lead protests and warn the government not to perpetrate any violence against the protesters.

Even the protest he led in Ojota signified a turning point in peaceful protests in the annals of Nigerian democratic resistance.

And finally in 2014, same Tinubu called for a democratic revolution that will sack the PDP from power and bring about change. He accomplished it the very next year with the supoort of Nigerian voters.
so why has the courage failed him now
He is doing everything to frustrate the protest
He has over a year to rethink his stupid policies, he was forming jagaban, listening to court jesters and sycophants

Like I replied to someone earlier, many of you are not accustomed to having a civil, pro-people, and pro-democracy advocate as President.

The President has been engaging with stakeholders on the long-term benefits of the sacrifices being made now, while also reworking and retooling the economic consequences but not the policy.

On the protest itself, the President has also been meeting with Nigerians and leaders of communities, be it religious, tribal, and economic, to see how best to manage the anger and hunger that is fueling the protest and advocate patience, but while sternly alerting all anarchist that violence and vandalism will not be tolerated.

That is democratic best practice at the highest level. Protest in peace, not in anarchy.

Even the police has been demonstrating a civilised approach in engaging the visible leaders of the protest.

Even the anarchists are laughing that the government is afraid, just because they have never seen a Nigerian government show the level of concern and engagement to ensure that the protest is even shelved if all parties can agree on a compromise.

Sensible people don't need supervisors to talk sensibly. It's oponu that are paid that need supervision to make sure they do as instructed. That describes you...totally.

Loser grin
