Hello everyone, I need your advice please. Right after nysc and a seven month job, I did an internship between May 2013 to January 2014. I was not given any offer letter for this internship. Subsequent jobs thereafter including the one immediately after nysc I have their letters. Please how do I explain or justify this gap for my visa process. Thank you. |

Good day everyone, Pls I need clarification on some points here. I've paid part of my tuition already. I'm on the POF stage at the moment, and I have some questions pls. My POF is in 2 different accounts, 1 in naira and the other in pounds. I hope this isn't abnormal. After I print out a statement of account on the 30th day, do I have to leave the whole sum there for another month while waiting for the visa decision , or can I use part of the money to pay for IHS? Pls advise me on the limit of credit and debit amount. How much is the highest I can credit my POF(naira and pounds) while still nurturing it before maturity? My work in the past 8years isn't really related to the course I've just been offered by the university. Is it ok to go with that or should I adjust my CV to show that my current job is related to my offered course? Is there a possibility of an interview before a UK student visa is granted? |

it depends on your application, if the VO needs more clarification from you, you will likely get an interview mail, but if your application documents are well explained, there won't be a need for interview Faitholuchi: |

well, you will have to leave the funds there till you get your decision on your visa, they may contact the bank to check the validity of the funds there. you have to explain the reason you are going for that course, align it with your experience in a way or your future goals nlenq: |

Good afternoon all Please I need your advice and some words of encouragement won't be bad as the wait for a response doesn't get any better as days go by. So I did my online application on the 10th of July and biometric on the 16th. On the 22nd of, July, I got an NSF mail asking for additional documents. Submitted all documents and a letter of explanation on the 23rd. I got an automated mail confirming they received my mail but I haven't gotten any response from UKVI up until this moment. Application tracking is still at DCM. I intend to wait until Monday as that's the end of the 3 weeks since biometrics and 14 days since my response to NSF mail before I make a paid call or email. So my questions are 1. How do I make a paid call or email (which works better and faster)? 2. How do I escalate the matter if need be? 3. Do I need to be worried at this point? 4. Is anyone having a similar experience? |

[quote author=Faitholuchi post=131244853]Is there anyone applying to university of south Wales UK. When asked how will your course be assessed does it really mean through what? It means they’re asking you how you’re to be graded, either based on assignments, project work and presentations it depends on the course you’re applying for |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Mboki: 5:46pm On Jul 31 |
Flamesmakefire: Wha document was demanded by them? What's your study gap? Any previous refusal? I think you should escalate with a paid mail. |

Flamesmakefire: Probably they are trying to verify the additional documents. There is no need to be worried! |

Good day everyone, amazing thread. Can anyone answer if dependents can still join the main applicant (students) in the UK? Student got admitted and been in the UK since November 2023 and graduates by March 2025. Can her husband join her now? Thanks. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Onelovetayz(m): 4:12pm On Aug 01 |
9wkgb:By graduating in March, I'm suspecting that your student visa will soon expire/already expired. If your student visa is still valid you can bring your dependant. However, you can't bring your dependant if you are on PSW except if you are on Skilled worker visa that permits dependants. All the best! |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by 9wkgb: 5:11pm On Aug 01 |
Onelovetayz: Hi and thank you for the feedback. Student is still on her student visa and it’s yet to expire; although she’ll be applying for PSW soon. Thanks once again. Appreciate it. 1 Like |
