OasisX:I'm surprised you'd say this. Anyways let me ask you, since protests are bad like you have been showing us. How should people voice their concerns that the government will feel the effect and act fast? What do you suggest? Consider that food inflation is currently approaching 50%. Fuel is sold for an average price of 800. Farmine in the northern part of the country and the rise in insecurity. What do you suggest? 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Segedinho: Like Larride said, the government needs to find a way to keep FX rate stable. Also, importers can only import just the quantity people are willing to buy, so demand controls importation. For example, car importation dropped significantly because Nigerians can't afford Toks cars. But I believe with tax waivers granted on imported grains, we will have some hunger relief while the government works round the clock to fix other important economic issues. |

swiz123: The instability of the FX is actually d main prob we are facing ... If FX is pegged at a given rate and d gov subsidised (if d rate is too high) then we have a convo. Izzou n poor Me are talking about reality wch is the instability of d naira...... Opening the border now is as useless as Nigeria cos FX abracadabra will always have a say..... But if PMS is returned to d default level b4 bubu came on board...things will normalise b4 u blink |

liveLongNprospa: ......let me first correct you, I never comdemn Protest rather suing for peaceful protest. The records are there on this board, Oasis no dey delete past posts - Ọlọhun má mú mi, torí tani àti tani níwájú tani. LOL! Protest is our fundamental right but destruction of properties is not, and I have said it many times here. Few folks have answered your question but let me help you out with it one more time. 2027 is less down 3yrs, vote him out. Whether you protest from now till tomorrow, PBAT ain't ready to backdown. Kindly watch yesterday World Press Conference by his Cabinet Members. He believes he is on the right track to fix Nigeria, he acknowledges the hardship and promises prosperity is close. If PBAT eventually fails, God forbids, I will humbly campaign aggressively against his re-election. He has this term to fix Nigeria and I still have confidence he can do it. |

donjazzet:It is annoying, it's why this "Yoruba Ronu" fueled tribalism is especially insidious. God pass all of them, I'm sure the rest of the country won't sit idly and watch the nonsense that happened during the civil war repeat itself. It's a good thing the protests have played out the way it has, those that refuse to leave APC should be the ones setting themselves alight. The Gideon Orka coup should have put to bed this nonsense forever. 4 Likes |

Unlimited22:Be very ecstatic sef. Igbos and Obidients will be the scapegoats of the people that are too poosie to face the real protesters we all know this so it's really important that they are very distant from these protests. All Northerners had to do was put their tribe and religious bias for one cycle. They refused so let them lead from the front whatever it is they want to do 6 Likes |
