Is there protest anywhere in Lagos

Yes. In Ojota, Lekki and Alausa. Its controlled by the police though.

Spy360:

The only region that is not protesting is the SE. They didn't vote Tinubu remember, 99%. You even called them bigots because of it.

So the ones that voted Tinubu are the ones protesting.

Let those who want to protest join protest and burn down their home states

......you guys keep hammering on FX like its all we need to beat down inflation. How much is a bag of Rice in Benin Republic?! Do you know Smugglers do pay more than ₦1m as bribe to clear a Trailer of Rice from Saki to Lagos?!

How do you expect them to recoup the money?! Simply by spreading it on the retail price. Even with CFA, Rice ain't as expensive as its being sold in Nigeria.

If you are interested in Rice business, I can link you up with a sure plug in Saki. You'll be supplied without collateral but you must pay back in 3 days.

Price of Rice will crash in few days times, mark this post. Maize and Wheats will be imported massively too.
The maize and wheat price crash will crash the price of feed which will in turn crash the price of eggs and birds. The bird and egg price crash will vis a vis crash the state of hunger, the state of hunger will crash the state of anger and the state of anger will to some extent crash the state of insecurity

A trailer carries 600 bags

1 million divided by 600 is 1700 naira per bag.

So 1700 is what made rice 72k today?

grin

......its not fixed bro, that's why I said more than ₦1m. Some paid even ₦10m, depends on the route.

Fun fact; if a bag of Rice is 30k in Saki, it won't go less down 50k in Lagos. You are a Traveller, kindly find out.

.......Airmark and I were proffering solutions to hunger issue but guess what?! We were mocked.

After I suggested massive Importation of staple foods by the Government to complement opening of borders, my dear friend and brother izzou started gathering firewoods, lighted it and roasted me well well. Thanks Swiz123 and larride that comot me for fire, I for don turn ashes.

I also suggested separation and creating New Ministry for Foods Security, basically with sole objective - flood every nook and cranny of Nigeria with subsidized foods. Una no see this ó, na Oasis dey mock us una dey post upandan. LOL!

He is in a hurry to hurl insults even when nobody is fighting him. I think it's frustration.

I posted about seeing a Kanu's unconditional release as part of demands. He jumped in from nowhere talking about IQ, abroad and other jagbajantis. It was later that some people cleared him that the demand was actually made by one of the protest groups, that he mellowed on it.

Frustration can make someone to cut his nose to spite his face.

Na English I use type bro, no be mandarin.

People have a right to protest and they should if they are dissatisfied with the government.

It doesn't change the fact that the best form of protest is through the ballot.

I have not seen any destruction in PH or Asaba or Warri as well. Only looting of Palliatives in Edo and I have no qualms with it.

The fact that you are trying to project taxes as an option is why i am laughing.

As long as that the naira in depreciating per day, disbanding the Customs sef will not bring down the price of goods to any reasonable level.

If you like, change it to 100 million, that bribe is not why rice price is unbearable.

The currency is shiiit. Don't you get?

If Tinubu was not paying subsidy, i would buy one litre of petrol for 1,100 (without VAT or marketer's profit).

If truly the rice would be cheap, you for see rice everywhere at ridiculous rates.

What does communication do when the actions are still leading to suffering?
At what point do you think people will start calling the communication lamba?

Whether the people call the communication lamba or not is irrelevant, it's the government responsibility to fully communicate their intentions and policy to the people.

When Tinubu removed fuel subsidy and unified exchange rate, was the policy not clearly communicated? Let them keep the same energy on actions and policy they are doing to alleviate the suffering of the people.

Properties were destroyed.

It's a simple stuff with ripple effect across the agribusiness.

This is the same policy that the government should've done like immediately the hyperinflation started.

The FG is subsidising it so you can have it at 40k.

You think they made profit from it?

Now, can you, as a businessman sell to us at 40k inclusive of your profit?

Emir talk does not carry the same power and influence as the President own.

The President can talk and reduce the price of gas from 1200 to 900 in an instant, the emir or cleric does not have that power.

The President need to address the nation.

I'm not arguing against effective communication.
But what makes it effective is the actions that proceed it.
If you are communicating and still increasing the suffering of people, the people stop caring about your communication.

Infact people (Nigerians) won't care about communication if life was good. That's the koko
