Sorry to say, just a light joke, but this like something an AI would do if you asked it to generate a picture of shawarma, curry, and fruit salad.

Sorry for yourself. Why not ask AI to do it for you and post it on here to disprove my food

Why so agitated? Lol
I wasn't trying to disprove your food, per se, and there are hundreds of AI models that generate photos, so they're bound to look different.

I was simply making an observation. You seem to have a bit of a thin skin, can't take a joke, apparently.

Comparing eba with Pounded yam is really unfair, weirdest thing I can say..

Yeye..

I thought so too until I found the type of garri, way of making it and presentation that works for me.

Arguably the best swallow yet. Perhaps, pounded yam has a rightful fight.

Team eba over iyan. Eba, lafun, pounded yam in that order

I may not have made it well because I didn’t quite like it.

I have to try it at an authentic Thai restaurant to judge it properly. Mine was too sweet (even for a dessert)

Great... thanks... one more question, what fried chicken seasoning do you use? and also, the quantity of the vegetable oil?
Maeve7:

Mix some vegetable oil with a little bit of dark soja sauce, honey and a teaspoon of mustard if you want. The mustard is optional. I add it sometimes. Add all purpose seasoning, black pepper, ground paprika and some herbs of your choice (thyme or oregano or Italian herbs mix). Wash the chicken and marinate it. Leave in the fridge over night. Put it in the oven at 390 F or 200C top and bottom heat. Turn after 15 minutes and again after another 15 minutes. Add a little bit of fried chicken seasoning after the second turning for the color. Then bake for another 15 minutes. 45-50 minutes in total. Enjoy!

Add salt to the marinade only if your all purpose seasoning doesn’t contain (enough of) it.

You‘re welcome.

Any fried chicken seasoning that has the color orange or red will do. You could also use ground paprika instead. For this amount of chicken 2/3 of a small cup of oil. I will upload a picture of the marinade when I get back from the holiday.

Maybe. Or maybe not.

Rationalising it, it may seem as though it's for economic reasons but I think it's a delicacy on its own.

I just know the practice has been there a pretty long time before now

yeah, it shouldn't be mad sweet. The sweet comes from the mango and creamy from the coconut. Like like a great first try though.

Honestly, when I eat eba with any soup, I don't get to feel the real taste of the soup compare to other swallow

Eat Pounded yam with egusi and Eba with Egusi, you will see the real difference
