It's not about Tinubu my dear brother, its about the big and richmen in this country, its so unfortunate that Tinubu we not come out to explain deep down of the fuel subsidy removal or fx increase crisis, but let me explain fx, which he did well and major things that brought all this. Before Tinubu administration their is what we call sale of form m in Nigeria by central bank through commercial bank quarterly purpose of form m is to sell to importers of of raw materials that can not be found in Nigeria or machine. Let say black market is #700 and official rate is #300 meaning that they we get it at #300 which is good for economy development and lower price which is good bro, but reverse is the case these people we buy dollars @300 credited the conresponded bank account over their and the shell company removed their percentages and returned the remain bal to the person $account in Nigeria. Let say the person buy $10m @#300 and give the shell company over their $200k and they returned $9.8 to him or her which he/she we sell @700 at black market, calculate the dupious profit that is how they steal quarterly he knows about it as a thief that was why he stopped sales of form m and form A. derecho: At this point I think Yorubas should be careful not to allow Tinubu's political ambition bring the cultural heritage into unnecessary disrepute. Imagine using Oro festival anyhow to scare the masses or political opponents. Now after all the announcement of the festival starting from Aug 1, yet they retreated after they noticed people might beat them up. Now Oro has become the "masquerade wing" of the APC propaganda machine. What a shame. Their royal fathers should stop this mess before it is too late. 1 Like |

This is purely West and North protest because they are the ones that have being ruling for years now with hunger and tribal appointment with nothing to show for their region. Hunger have not started and they are complaining after feeding fat from my oil south region. We are watching how karma is dealing with the west and North. You need power yet has no wisdom and plan on how to use it for the benefit of Nigeria even the money is not from your region. The universe is with the south south 1 Like |

OnlineTeacher: Yes o. U can burn down ur region for all we care. U beat Igbos in Lagos because they voted for Obi. Now u want us to join u protest for ur failure? It doesn't work like that. Let me equally remind u that the day we will deal with ur region, they will shake at the mention of our name. Don't play with a tribe that fought Nigeria for three years with 80 percent ammunition locally produce. If not for hunger, Naija will not win that war. Right now, Igbos have been contributing and preparing for anything. We hv men in ground too that is well trained. It will be suicidal if ur people decide to attack Igbos tomorrow. Even hausas won't join u. We ain't mate bro. Na because we dey try safeguard our investment in ur region. Any day ur people destroy our investment, we will hv no alternative than to show u our anger. |

The yams and other stuffs lasts a full year till the next farming season These were just side gig for him because he was raised by a wealthy farming father who later trained him in medical school in the early 70s after the civil war I remember also a a growing up young man my Dad invested and supported his friend from Anambra East area called Anam who cultivates rice After harvest this his friend brings hundreds of bags of rice as my Dad's own from the support he was given These where in between mid 1980s and mid 1990s Cause it was vivid in my memory as a growing up young man Now most of us are grown men married with children We have forgotten the wise ways of our fathers But I am happy many we are waking up Even me remembering the harvest of plenty of food those days We are going back to investing again in agriculture Our lands in the East are extremely fertile farmlands A close relative of mine very wealthy is investigating massively in Agriculture in the East When he showed me what he was doing I was utterly amazed Most of you don't even know what agriculture is all about That's why you guys are crying of hunger But we in the East know what agriculture and good harvest of food is right from when we were young kids So going back to the ways of our parents isn't a new thing to us It's people like you I am very very very sorry for and pity 1 Like |

All the foreign companies in Lagos that closed operations under TINUBU and BUHARI were caused by IGBOs? All the foreign companies that are closing down in NIGERIA is because of IGBOs? All the price hikes and every negative indicices of development cemented by TINUBU and BUHARI are caused by IGBOs All the attack on IGBO businesses and organisations is caused by IGBOd? Nnamdi Kanu is in Prison , so it's KANU that caused the protests abi? You are shamelessly lost and demented.. You are a very sad representation of what a Yoruba person is. Ironbull:Are you sure that moniker (SJ) you quoted is a Yoruba girl? I don't think so. The newly created moniker looks more like an impostor claiming to be a Yoruba female based on the post history. There are many of those monikers here on NL and other online platforms such as X, Facebook, IG, with catfish accounts, some claiming to be from one ethnic group while actually being from another ethnic group. NL is particularly notorious here because anyone can register a new NL account in 2 minutes with a free throwaway email and start using it for trolling and dissemination of hate speech. By the way, Ibos from the South East are fully involved in the protests in other parts of Nigeria especially in PH, Abuja and contiguous areas or states and I have seen the videos of some of them making demands from the government (with one of them calling for the reversal of fuel to N100 per liter and the re-introduction of fuel subsidy which even Atiku and Peter Obi said they were gonna remove. In the South East, the protest is muted and that's exactly what happened during the Occupy Nigeria anti-fuel subsidy removal protests in 2012 when the South East traders got some knocks for going about with their trading activities while citizens from other parts of Nigeria fought against the abrupt plans to remove fuel subsidy WITHOUT the operations from any new refineries on ground during the GEJ administration. The green refinery the GEJ administration with Ms. Diezani Agama as the Petroleum Minister said would be built was ÑEVER built till 2015 when GEJ left office. |

Re: Day 3: Lagos Protesters Are Outside Again For #EndBadGovernance by hotseat: 10:05am On Aug 03 |
The fallout of the protest has recorded huge losses for the government, corporate organizations and private individuals thus far. If the true intentions of the so-called protesters is to bring to the attention of the authorities the hunger and widespread despondency prevailing across Nigeria, I guess the message has been passed loud and clear. It's now time to come to the negotiating table and let rationality prevail over irrationality. No one has been able to solve the myriads of his problems simply by going about protesting but, to sit down to marshall out practical and viable means of addressing them. These protests may soon become nauseating if they do not call themselves to order. As they say, quit the stage when the ovation is loudest. @hotseat |

OnlineTeacher: You keep amplifying your foolishness and the rest of the world won't stop laughing at you. A man with an evil intention will always be scared at everything happening around him because all he plans, schemes and devises is evil. Yorubas asked Igbos not to protest in the SW and we concurred because that has always been our stance since Tinubu's administration started. Our people and leaders at every level said we will not be a part of any protest this August. The organizers of this protest are all Yorubas: Sowore,Falana, Adegboruwa, Damilare Adetona,Deji Adeyanju etc They are the heroes of democracy. It is your evil mind that is deceiving you. The protests in Lagos has been peaceful and will remain so. If Yorubas choose to protest the hardship caused by BAT's mindless & clueless economic policies then allow them do so. It's their constitutional rights. Your attempt to deceive some Yorubas to think that Igbos are the ones directing them to go to protest makes it look like Yorubas are incapable of making independent decisions. Remember when Yorubas & northerners organized Ebin pa wa 1.0 earlier in the year,we didn't participate.... just like now. |
