Hello,
Did you still take up bolton offer and have you gotten your CAS?
I just got my offer yesterday after several reminder mails i had to send to them.
There processing is quite slow.
How long does the CAS takes to be out?

This was their mail
Please provide the following documents:

Official, verifiable documents to demonstrate what you have been doing since your graduation in 2019.

This should be in English or a certified translation and for exampl,e be in the form of Payslips/employment letters with contact details on them / bank statements with regular salary being deposited / employment contracts / further education certificates and should not just be a CV.

So I submitted
-NYSC certificate and bank statements showing regular income from Nysc
-Employment letter from a previous place of employment and Reference salaries were paid in hand at this job
- I was in civil service from 2014 to 2022 gave a bank statement showing salaries from 2019 to 2022 i don't have any payslips
-Travel history was mentioned in the application so I gave a letter of explanation covering my trips and reasons for travel
-CAC Certificate from March this year

I have 5 years study gap
1 Canada visitors visa refusal

I got another email yesterday for an interview on the 8 day of August. So I'm getting myself ready for that too. Hopefully, they'll finally get the answers they want... Wish me luck

God be with you

Yes, thank you.

Okay i don’t think listing schools would be helpful as i don’t know what your budget is from just saying ‘affordable’.So my advise to you would be to check for schools on Times higher education ranking table and start checking for schools past the TOP 25.You can start checking each individual schools and compare fees.
Please also bear in mind that most schools have closed admission cycle for this year’s cohort but you can still get into some through clearing. Now,clearing is only possible if the child already has their academic qualifications. Also bear in mind that computer science is a very competitive course and would probably not be one of the courses available for clearing.

If the child is going in for the 2025/2026 cohort, then they have more than enough time to prepare their application.

Thank you. The child is ready for University next year. I haven't done this research in years as my children are adults now.... I will advise my friend as you suggested. She's worried about the FX rate and wants to plan ahead...

You’re welcome ma.

Tell her to open a pounds account for her peace of mind. The child can start working on his personal statement because new admission cycle will open in September.Set up a UCAS account and start working on the application around september.
Does the child have their qualifications already? They should be quick about making a university choice so as to know which exams he/she might need to register for.(e.g A-levels,IB etc). Most of these exams have scheduled dates. Waec is not accepted by most of them for BSc.

You have less than 2 years study gap.
Your NYSC certificate should suffice.

Hi everyone, is it necessary to include reference letters from previous places of work. Can employment letters suffice?
I graduated in 2020 and started NYSC in 2021 - 2022, worked from 2022 - 2023. Since then I haven’t been working. Do I need to explain this recent gap and the one immediately after graduation?

Yes. Transit Visa.

That’s how you answer.

I declared my July 2014 visa and my October 2014 visa refusal. It is still within 10 years.
