You people are funny.

Some are even asking someone who didn't consider them worthy enough of an interview in local TV stations before he got elected to grant them an audience on twitter space. grin

What I'm advocating for is systematic cleansing. One that will see the citizens chase the current political class (Across all political parties)...If it means the country split up then so be it.

We just can't continue like this, it's not sustainable...I was recently transferred to Ikom (Cross River State), the money in this place is more than what you have anywhere in the State because it is like the nerve centre of cocoa trading. Cameroonians bring their cocoa to come and sell here and most of them reside here. There's so much money here ( a bag of cocoa goes for over 700k) but guess what, for the 2 months I have been here, I have not seen light.

It was only recently that the people knew the value of cocoa. All of these are exported and we buy finished products for more. We have a government that is crying that there's no money but a proactive government will bring in the right investors and we will have a cocoa factory here.

Go to Benue, with all the oranges, there's no beverage factory, you need to see how oranges are wasting away. Yet, we have people in government that are clueless. There exist a lot of opportunities in Nigeria.

Go to Agbokim and see the beautiful waterfall yet in that community there's no hotel, the road leading to the community is bad. Politicians travel abroad to visit places like Agbokim waterfall but the one nature has blessed us with, we can't harness them.

Baba, we suppose chase all our politicians comot from this country.

Instead of burning and resorting to violence (something we cannot control), it is better we opt for a new movement politically.

That's why i cannot subscribe to the opinion that political parties are just vehicles.

What's there you don't understand. People always associate poverty with north just the same way people associate internet fraudsters with South West.

Imagine Atiku coming to campaign in South West and saying I will pull South West youth out of internet fraud.

But this person looked at a nationwide protest, and asked the FG to do the same thing for the North...Only North.

Did he not know that the South has poverty and illiteracy too?

Maybe it is me that doesn't understand you, but this has "STEREOTYPE" written all over it.

That is a welcome idea. Reduction of out of school children and illiteracy level. I didn't see that as an insult at all. Well put together

You think the politicians are the only problem? They came from the people. One of the legacies of the military is a civil service mentality where people wait for the government.

The people are saying they want a change. Nigerians will back any leader that will come in and prioritise the strengthening of institutions over individuals...

Something has to give. If we decide to go for the corrupt politicians then all of them have to be targeted...

Reality is always different see how all those who called for protest folded under 24hrs when they saw the results

That is exactly the reason prominent people like Obi Falana Utomi are not allowing their names to be used as protest leaders

Kano state governor is now trying to blame opposition
Some are trying to blame southerners

See IPOB UGM crisis for example all the prominent people who supported them initially will surely be regretting it but can't stop it

As bad as the Cross Rover situation is, it's not yet Borno, Zamfara Imo etc

Now its hunger which is bad enough, some people are paying taxes to bandits in Zamfara to see the next day. Some have not slept in their own house for months from one bush to another IDP camp even children under 10 whose parents can't be located again just wandering around the town

As bad as they are in cross river now, things can get worse quickly

The person's in Kano who business property or motorcycle wey he dey use hustle dem burn, where do you think he's heading? Let me tell you, the south has just welcomed another bandit or if he's good at heart, Okada rider

Incase you wonder why Igbos are very loud about their issues, this is why.

How did an isiagu wearing 'igbo' man find his way to kano to represent the protesters and deliver the demands of the protesters (look at the last picture😂).

Don't forget the emir position in kano is still being contested between 2 emirs and yet you are framing an Igbo man as taking such sides😂.

God is good🙏

This ur question is somehow . There are thousands of Igbos living in the north; Kano in particular . These igbos have associations and it is possible the man in the picture is one of the leaders showing his support for Bayero as the Emir.

You may have other Igbo market leaders in the city taking the other side . It’s normal that foreigners will take side with a faction of their host over another .

I don’t think anybody is framing anybody here. Except you have evidence that suggest the man is not igbo and not known amongst Igbos in Kano

The Igbos have done everything to be out of the spotlight in this protest.
Every single thing.
Not because they are not suffering but because they know how things work.

You think those traders announcing that they don't want to protest in Alaba is because they enjoy the economy?
And you surely think that communication didn't go out to the traders in kano or other places.

Lmao so an isiagu wearing man will just be the one delivering the paper to an emir when we all know the current battle going on in kano about the position😁.

Sure sure.

Ok. I doubt it though.

The CBN has been selling retail to BDC aggressively, even increase their allocation.

Here you go. They will sell dollars to retail users through the banks. Feels like a reversal to the old system. The pressure from the protest is getting to them.

Anyone who has not joined the protest is either getting his daily bread from the government or is not suffering enough. There's no excuse.

When you don't know where your next meal will come from, you will hit the streets and hope for a change.

The poster is most likely being mischievous with the description or choice of pictures.

A "say no to protest" document and him being representative of the "protesters" is not in sync...or maybe he's one of the many "say no to protest" protesters cheesy

Obaseki didn't do well as regards roads, Asue Ighodalo has promised to take infrastructure seriously, hopefully he does enough to give the state a face-lift.

Oshiomhole did relatively well with roads, but no matter what his legacy might be, it cannot be a path for the dunce his party is floating. Olumide Akpata has little to no chance of winning, and it's looking like he's been helpful by toning down his campaign to avoid vote splitting.

For now PDP is the only reasonable way forward for Edo State.

.....I adore your energy and support for Asue based on his promises. PDP has failed Edo, but you are still sticking out your neck for the PDP cos you believe in the Aspirant.

I wish him the best, hope he wins and pray he succeeds, so more blames won't pile up on the Federal Government.
