I think this picture below illustrates what you just said better. Immediately price started tanking, everyone started closing their long positions, consequently adding more to the shorts to even dip lower. 600+ pips dump is something else entirely. Anyone without a SL today won't like what his equity would look like at all.

This is somewhat common whenever price is at all time high, NEWS might come that push it higher but soon it should start to retrace back to downtrend. This happens with all currency. If you’re to check where USD is losing due to today’s news you will see that the pair is not at all time high.

You should be happy it's even $3, and not more than that. Because you'd would have blown it all the same. If you can't trade with $3 profitably, you won't trade with $3k profitably.
The funds should be seen in % and not amount. So stop trying to make money but learning how to really trade instead. The money will follow once the skills is there.

$3 is too small to allow reasonable movement of the trade. If he keep on funding you account with small funds like this he will continue to blow the money away.

Using a $3 cent would be more reasonable because it will be $300Usc but trading with $3 will not only put pressure on him, it will also make him hesitate when some setups show up.

On point. That's if he wanted to use it for learning purpose. But trying to make gains off $3? The odds is extremely stack against someone and probability of failure is even higher.
