if the process is not a scam, I think it worth leaving your job. Your one month savings in Kuwait will be equivalent to your one year salary in Nigeria. I am a leaving witness, I earn as high as 350k in Nigeria. When I left to UK, my one month sayings is in millions that I have never put together in my life.

Health and care visa is for medicals professionals and other professionals that work in the Trust (hospital). Once your employer is categorised to be healthcare provider, you are entitled to health and care visa. I was employed as a Senior Administrator and I am on Health and Care visa. Same benefit was extended to my dependant (wife), she was treated like dependants of health and care visa dependants.

Cashmadam:

You are welcome.

The Health and Care Worker Visa is only for medical professionals and those in eligible health and care professions. The Skilled Worker visa is for other professions and jobs outside of health and care (copied).

The most common one for caregiver roles is the Health and Care Worker visa, previously known as the Tier 2 (General) visa. This visa is meant for individuals who have been offered a job in the healthcare sector in the UK. In some cases, some employers may also offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (copied).

My advise: Your cousin should ask his employers all the questions he has. Most organizations have immigration Lawyers (including schools) who are very helpful. I'm not an immigration lawyer so I don't want anyone to quote me smiley

I speak only from my own perspective so best you hear from an expert.

Good luck!

Yes. Did you check the status from their website?

I got a response in like 10 working. Might be visa type dependent though. My visa was a partner dependant visa. No priority fee.

Hello all, please do you know if Ikeja tls still accept walk-in for visa application? Thanks. If yes, is it still 40k per person?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Femola99: 10:56pm On Aug 05
Hi all,

I have a quick clarification. I have been to the UK twice this year. I applied for 6 months visiting visa first and now I want to reapply for 2 years visa.

A quick question. I have a validity of 1 year and 5 months on my international passport. Do you think I can still apply for the 2 years Uk visa despite having 1 year and 5 months validity on my passport.

Yes you can apply even for 5 or 10 years. They will simply stamp the duration on the passport eg 2 yrs, 5yrs or 10 yrs as long as you meet the requirements to be granted. Validity of passport does not matter. It is left for you to also have an updated passport when you travel.

Hello. I would like to ask. When you applied for the two years visa, was your International passport validity up to 2years or less than two years

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by beautyuche: 12:25pm On Aug 06
Yes my passport just expired this year. I had over 2 years when I applied. However it does not matter as the requirements is you should have more that 6 months validity and in your case it is more than that.

If your passport expires and you have a valid visa on it , renew it and travel with both passports. I had a similar case and traveled with the new passport with the ols passport that had my valid visa. Infact I also had a change of name on the new passport and it was not a problem.

(1) do I fill this section well? - Instead of unemployed, I suggest you put student (if your daughter is a student)
(2) I wrote ยฃ1800 for sponsoring her mother in her application,is it the same amount I will write to sponsor the daughter? - Doesn't have to be the same amount. You can reduce it slightly - as long as it is realistic
(3) can I use the same hotel booking I use for the mother's application? but the no of guest was 1adult or I will book new one with 1adult, 1 child - Hotel booking is not mandatory. However, if you want to use it, you need to book another one for your daughter
