Unfortunately, what can 20k do for the students in a month? Indomie alone is 15k per carton now. Won't the student transport himself to school? What about other needs of the student? This is more like blowing air into the eyes of a blind man. It makes no difference!!

And the students will be expected to start paying back two years after they complete their NYSC. Talk about double wahala for dead body.

so you're saying what 2 years after NYSC is not enough time? Is your plan to sit at home for 2 years after NYSC?

Sorry saw this late. Best thing is to ask him to go to their student union office. That’s the fastest way as other students would have applied.

Also, he can do it alone by going on this portal to apply. First check if his university is participating because some schools have not yet uploaded all their details on the website.

If his school is there, he should apply for it and do all the necessary verification. Then after some few weeks/month, he will get approval.

They release it in tranche and it depends on the universities. The funds were only released for the first 6 schools that complete their upload on time and starting new session.

The rest of the schools will be released in the second tranche.

The money would be sweet to eat untill when it's time to repay them you realize the gesture rather than solve Nigerians problem have compounded it.

In a country where less than 20% of graduates get employed after school we are offering them loan. Imagine graduating without a job and there is this constant reminder that you are owing government 500k.
