[quote author=Favourkasie post=131255780]Happy new month everyone.
You guys are doing a great work here. I have learnt a lot in a short while.
Thank you.

After several days of going through the previous threads I need some clarity please 🙏.
1. If the business is not registered since it's just something that's little and deals with cash at hand(she is into small chops and make sales daily but not enough to generate huge income if you understand what I mean ), how best will she prove evidence of the trade?
Secondly, is it okay for the business account to just bear her name (since no business registration or company name).

2. In the next 6 months if I decide to put in another application, my visa validity will be remaining less than 6 months, will it impact negatively on the application ?

Please kindly help.

@cashmadam, please can you advise what we can do for this error
Is it advisable he reapplies. Explaining the sources of the other funds or just build his acct for 6 months again.
We are just confused

Kindly see the post above yours and the refusal letter. If you still insist to go ahead, then that’s on you and you should be fine with dealing with the aftermath- positive or negative.

So can a letter be written to explain the source of the excess income.
Or just wait another 6 months.
Kindly advise.

Hello everyone, (please this a lengthy read)
Although I’ve been a bit silent here, but thanks to this thread I got a lot of information to apply for my mum to come help me with childbirth and she was granted her visa last week, after one refusal for my graduation last year.

She applied as self employed but myself and my sister in the us sponsored her trip.

Please I have some new questions though.
As I mentioned, last year my mum, dad and little sister applied to come for my graduation and they were all refused. Now I’m about to give birth and I decided to apply for only my mum as I thought it would be more straightforward and also because their previous refusal was based on my dad’s application.
Now that my mum has been given her six months visa I want to start planning reapplying for my dad and little sister. I’m thinking of planning their visit for sometime in December. My questions now are;

1) I’m thinking of putting in their application for September ending. Will it be a red flag because I just applied for my mum in July?

2) my dad applied as self employed last year but they used an agent against my wishes. The agent really messed up his application. Now I plan on reapplying for him myself as retired, as his business has not been doing too well in the past year, he has been receiving allowance from my sis and I every month of a total of 400k

Please what documents will I need to proof that he is retired. And is it fishy that he suddenly retired within a short time frame?

3) when my mum applied she had her business, property, my dad and lil sis as home ties, but if I’m applying for both my dad and little sister they would only have property (for my dad) and schooling(for my sis) as home ties. Specially because my mum still has an active visa.

For more context
My dad was denied last year because his business was not active on CAC, also his business and savings accounts were a mess.

Lastly, the reason I feel the need to apply for my dad and sis this soon is because the proof of fund I used for my mum last month is still in my account but I would have need for it by October, and I won’t be able to build my account again for a long while.

Please I would appreciate any advice from experienced people on this thread and maybe others in similar situations can also learn from answers given, thank you

1) I’m thinking of putting in their application for September ending. Will it be a red flag because I just applied for my mum in July? - Yes, this will be a red flag. I assume you indicated that your Mum will travel alone. They will suspect that your Dad and Sister will travel with her and she did not indicate that in her application.

- Well, it is fishy but it is better you say the truth now. if he gets any pension or got any letter from his office when he retired, you can use them as proof of retirement

3) when my mum applied she had her business, property, my dad and lil sis as home ties, but if I’m applying for both my dad and little sister they would only have property (for my dad) and schooling(for my sis) as home ties. Specially because my mum still has an active visa. - this might or might not work. I can't really predict to be honest.

For more context
My dad was denied last year because his business was not active on CAC, also his business and savings accounts were a mess. - then you need to put his account in order and wait for 6 months before you reapply.

Lastly, the reason I feel the need to apply for my dad and sis this soon is because the proof of fund I used for my mum last month is still in my account but I would have need for it by October, and I won’t be able to build my account again for a long while. - in that case, you are not ready to sponsor them so why do you want to waste money on another application and risk getting a second refusal?

Please I would appreciate any advice from experienced people on this thread and maybe others in similar situations can also learn from answers given, thank you

I will not advise you to apply for them so soon. Let your Mum visit and come back. Ensure she does not stay for too long in the UK. You can then reapply for three of them again and hopefully, they will all get the visa.

Then add the statement of account for your savings and investment accounts. It's not a big deal. Unless there is something else you are worried about

Exactly what i did as well o! Cos who keeps the whole salary money in their salary account! Savings and investment must go out. Then the money for expenses is left in salary account.

Thank you so much, i appreciate your response.
Just to clarify, are you saying i should wait for my mums visa to expire(February) before reapplying for all three of them together?
Or I should wait for my mum to go and return from her first visit then apply for just my dad and sister while my mum will still have some months left on her visa.
Lastly, either way if I’m not able to sponsor them at the time of their application can my elder sister who resides in the US sponsor their trip?

No.
Any unecessary shalaye without proper paper evidence will not work. Someone already took their time a few pages ago to explain this. Do you think the visa officers are foolish? Why is it always us that people are crediting our accounts endlessly before visa applications? All these are obviously money lodgements to help boost the account for visa application.

However, please remember that it is their personal and financial circumstances that matter the most. The big thing is to convince the visa officer that they have no intention to remain in the UK and will come back to Nigeria.

I got a response in like 10 working. Might be visa type dependent though. My visa was a partner dependant visa. No priority fee.

Beautiful people,

If I am a founding director and share holder in the company I currently work. The company is owned by I and my brother and we are both directors.

Does the CAC documentation that shows my role/ position as director, shareholder serves the purpose of employment letter?

The documents are enough to show that you own a stake in the company. In my opinion, they are adequate for this purpose.

Depends. Best to be modest. I would say between 1,500 and 2,000 each.
