Good day people,
Please I am getting worked up.
I have submitted my visa but someone just told me that IRCC doesn't approve visa for Nigerians with lest that 6 months bank statement, and what I submitted was 4 months.
Please how true is this and does it mean no hope for me?

4-6months POF should be okay

I would root for Canada…it’s sad to know that Aussie still battles with covid.
Yeah but I don’t think anyone from Naija fears Covid anymore.
COVID will be the least reason to make people avoid Aussie movement

In Lagos, They are moving Canadian Centre from the first floor to the ground floor, so I guess they want some time to make the movement. I do not know why Abuja is closed.
I am scheduled for biometric capturing on Monday and I am yet to get any cancellation email.
I will be travelling from Akure, please let me know if I can still do my biometrics so that I do not waste money and time on this trip ?

What the person told you is TRUE! If you have submitted 4 months, I would strongly advise you send your 6 months bank statement to IRCC via webform.
My cousin that used 4 months statement was refused, and it was one of the points the visa officer raised in his GCMS.
Attached is a clear proof.

While waiting for grace is good, it’s very important to help ourself by doing everything possible from our own end and then wait for God’s mercy.

Mr poster, if you can generate 6 months, download I t and send via webform to be on a safe side, incase your application is on the table of a VO that’s interested in 6 months. Always play safe!!! My cousin’s own was just ignorance… if only he knew! He actually had the 6 months but ended up uploaded 4 months because the bank statement was very bulky (145 pages). If only he was earlier informed

I’m not saying people should avoid Aussie, but its necessary you factor it when making your informed decision. I believe you know the measures that comes with Covid alone…I.e where people have to avoid large gatherings even in market places…now think on the impact on other sectors.

No doubt, Aussie…still remains a great country!!!

This is not true. People keep getting visa approvals daily with 4 months statement. What you need after submission is prayers, not listening to different IRCC spokespersons 😂

Thank you so much.
He is financially buoyant and willing to make transfer into my account if the option is better than presenting his own account statement as a co-sponsor. In demonstrating relationship, whose birth certificate please? He desires quality education for him hence the willingness to co-sponsor. How do I show prior history of support? How do I get affidavit of sponsorship? How do I show that my brother pays for the tuition fees? Will his name be indicated in the payment receipt or how?

Thank you so much for all helps.

bullstriker:
I recommend using your brother as a co-sponsor. But you must demonstrate your relationship (birth certificates should suffice). The next issue to resolve is “Why is your brother sponsoring him? Is he financially buoyant? Can you show a prior history of support from your brother to the family and, most importantly, to your son? The following can address the concerns of the VO
The bank statement shows funds transferred to you by the sponsor.
Photos of the sponsor with your son, especially during important events like graduation, birthdays, etc.
Affidavit of sponsorship
Sponsor can pay for tuition fees.
Proof of communication with your son.

A good presentation is usually what it takes to resolve such cases.

Dear Poster, instead of uploading 145 pages of bank statement, you can go to bank and request for mybankstatement so you’d be on a safe side( legibility is important). Mr Kenny, it’s good to play safe. Also remember it’s different individuals handling documents.

Honestly I’ve been thinking about this too. Applied since June 3rd. Although my biometrics was done on June 10th, it took some time before it was updated on my portal (July 5th), but when it was eventually updated, it still showed June 10th, so I don’t know whether I should start counting from when I did the biometric or when it was updated on the portal. I really hope they respond on time and positively.
Has IRCC responded to your application now?

The birth certificates of 3 of the three parties (You, son and brother) link the relationship.
Funds sent to you or your son by the uncle before now should be reflected in the account
You should get a template at the court, or a lawyer can help you draft one.
It will reflect in his bank statement if he pays the tuition fee from his account

You have no cause for alarm. Your brother's passport would be returned back to him. VFS are currently on break either due to the ongoing protest or they're moving in their Lagos office. You brother can start his traveling arrangements, he'd definitely get his passport soon.

Please check the new policy based on changing DLI and program, for applicants inside of Canada if you need an extension or to apply for SP

Good day everyone, quick question please, I’m in Canada already and my study permit is suppose to expire by December, but I got into my main program now, and co-op letter was attached to my program, the question is; can I send my new admission letter and the co-op letter to IRCC through webform for it to be updated, or should I just apply for a study permit extension with this new admission letter and co-op letter now, even though my permit will expire December and I need to extend by November?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Timeofgod: 10:56am On Aug 08
Good morning everyone. Please I have few questions I need clarification.

1. Please for those already in Canada and everyone here, what are the pros and cons of colleges and universities in Canada? In terms of practical, internship and other things. I got admission in poly and uni.

2. Please can I use my husband dom account for pof ? I don't have Dom account, or should I open Dom account now, will it affect my visa?
