I have made poor electoral choices in the past and I have learned from them. I am a lot less trusting of politicians now so its going to be hard to fool me. I don't just listen to what politicians say...I watch what they do (or what they did in the past). If there's a contradiction between speech and action, I don't waste my time on such politicians.

I look out for politicians who declare their assets publicly for all Nigerians to see - I don't want any of this hypocritical code of conduct bureau nonsense. For those of them who have held office as governors - I want to see what they have done about freedom of information legislation at state level. I have no patience for hypocrites like BRF who pushed for federal FOI legislation and then turned round to obstruct it at state level.

I highly doubt many Nigerians are concerned about this particular situation. What you will notice however is that a lot of these controversies emanate from the South Africans themselves.

There is a perceived hate and yes I am calling it that for foreigners in that country and the spirit of it has been left unchallenged for a good period of time.
