Seems to me you don't know the irony in your own statement. A river fish isn't farmed, it's caught, so the fishermen can sell them cheap. This one is farmed, so it costs more... You went to school na, engage your no 6.

Oh yea, fish is unnecessarily expensive in Epe. I stayed there years back and I think the demand for " fresh river fish" made the prices go up like that. And yes it would have been acceptable when animal feed was still cheap, not now that everything is expensive, so I'd pay top naira to the farmer who invested his time, money and effort, than to someone who simply caught fish.

Anyone who's ever done some farming would understand the amount of effort and risk it takes to raise any animal to adult stage... it's a lot of work and risk, so 100k isn't a lot.
