Good! I guess many more students started applying after seeing/hearing first set of beneficiaries receiving their monies and school fees paid to Unis.

The doubting Thomas kids rushed to apply for the loan after they saw many people uploading proof of the loan disbursed to them and the upkeep.

Like some people advised, FG should have a separate portal where we can identify students that got this loans with their details.

It could also be a good data point for their parent because some children will collect school fees from home and still take a loan. The main objective of this intervention is to relief the parent, so FG must do this so parents can know too.

I earn 30k monthly and my friend says I should save 20k and use 10k to feed and take care of myself for a month.. I nearly pour that guy acid.
1k a day can't take you even if you decide to eat once. Garri nkor, how about ingredients for soup despite going on low budget, even the 30k isn't even enough for a month which is 31 days.
Then how about students that'll still have other necessities asides from feeding?

A very good initiative regardless. 20k or 0k, which is better. There’s no student loan anywhere in the world that will give the students enough money to live like a king…why? Because the students will have to pay it back in the future.

Universities will get the cash flow they need to survive from the FG through prompt school fee payments and the students get some money to survive as well.

Nigerian with their ungrateful attitude and utterance. Has students ever received stipend before this administration? You said it's nothing it can afford based on the present economy reality, find. But if someone ask you for 5k for handout or something, you will said it's a big money, las las you still not help.
