Check if your hard drive was mistakenly ejected. It happened to me a month back until i discovered and push it back properly.

Just reformat that hard disk. Possibly it will reoccur if some sector have been badly affected

The fan of that system has developed fault to the point that you did not take notice of it to the point it affected the Processor. They should check ya fan or check if the processor is working fine

reason your should use a UPS... When a force shutdown happens the filesystem is left in an uncertain state, which can lead to file system damage upon restarting. this causes files curruption and many more ugly stuffs to the hdd.

try make you buy ups.. or just be saving small small on piggyvest for a new hdd(ssd)

I'm not saving anything. It's Chuwi Larkbox which I've been using for smart TV for over 10years now. Not using it to save anything other than to watch IPTV for free.

If it will pack up, it would have done so considering the rough usage it has seen in over 10years...not to mention all the Big-bang-bros, Cummination and other illegal Super-repositories on it.

It has actually worked it's money and it's still working superbly despite the blue screen coming up whenever it's abruptly or improperly shut down.

I suspect your hard drive is starting to misbehave. See if you can update all your drivers too.

GO TO RECOVERY MODE

. Go to window update and update all drivers. I had same issue recently

have enough data, click on your windows button... search for windows update, when the windows open... click on "check for updates"

this will run a total update on your machine.. including all the security updates,.... do this on a regular basis(daily) or simply set it to check and install update automatically.

Reload the OS....you will lose your files

If you have important files, you can slave the hdd on another pc and copy out your files before you reload the OS

To avoid future occurrence:
Perform system update regularly
Use trusted antivirus
Download drivers, files and softwares from reputable n trusted sites

Bros don't mind the inaccurate answers you've received so far. That is, in fact, an emergency situation. That is the dreaded blue screen of death. Your Hard Disk is very ill and will soon enter coma. Whether you lose or recover your files depends on your actions from the minute it started. Stop trying to reboot the system, get a tech person to back up the files on the ailing HD immediately.

You put your PC on sleep mode too often. SD card may have crashed

chuwi boxes uses eMMC and not hdd or ssd... meaning a BSOD can't really be a symtom of a fault that will affect your storage device... in this case its either issues with your bootloader, filesystem or similar... and the fact that it hasn't shut you out does'nt mean it wont. one day you'll wake up to much bigger issue resulting from this frequent neglect of this.

If I have to save to buy UPS for something that has overworked it's money, then I'm not different from FG that's spending continuously to revamp a refinery that will never work.

I've gotten my value for money in the very first 6months considering how much I would have paid DSTV premium subscription to get even just 5% of what my "never-say-die" Chuwi Larkbox is giving me for free.

It really has worked it's money. If it packed up now. I will gladly invite you for it's befitting burial, while at the same time place an order for another one. Or go for the king of TV box, "Nvidia Shield"

Restart your system, when you see the product logo, press the power key and shut it down. Repeat it three times in quickly and the fourth time the system ll repair itself. Don't reformat your system yet.

The boot file is corrupt or missing. Reinstall the file manually or use windows auto repair.

You can use a recovery mode if you never set one.


Best solution with any trial and error is to install a fresh window.


To keep your keep fails after when installing the new windows, don't format the hard drive.


Troubleshooting this type won't yield any result. Just install a fresh windows.


You can visit a specialist for a clean job.
