Gennyn:
I had an interview with Polish Embassy in June, was denied based on Number 10. Not one person got Visa amongst those of us that interviewed that day and neither did anyone on the day I came to appeal.
After my appeal, which I made sure I did everything right, I still got rejected.
Not also a single person got Visa on the same date.
This is what someone told me about the system which is out to exploit Nigerians instead of coming out to say they are not granting Visas to Nigerians.

"I spoke with a Polish authority asking why many applicants from Nigeria are denied visas to Poland. I was told that Nigerians have given the country a bad image - Internet crime, forgery, crimes, prostitution etc. And many of these Nigerians relocated from Ukraine. Infact the embassies are encouraged not to grant 95% applicants entry".

At this point I think applying is waste of funds.

Good luck u all

What did you do different on your appeal? Kindly share more light?

There is a cheat to it.
Here is how to do it, after you have applied and denied, there is this guy in the Ministry of foreign affairs here in warsaw who you will write to detailing your application to and sharing a copy of your refusal letter. In your email to him, you have to be paraing. Also remember to copy the embassy in the email.
Consul will write you a separate email to appeal the decision, and he will grant the visa 100%.

Nb: the downside is you pay visa fees twice.

What is the guy’s mail please?

Wow, so bad. Are you also in Poland as a student or worker? How is life in Poland , Please share some insights since you are on ground.
alexifidon:

What you said is the truth. We don't have good image here, I recently entered Poland and I knew what it took me to open Santander bank account. Initially they were like they can't open for Nigerians because our country is tagged as dangerous country but with the help of someone I know there, I eventually opened. I think they said something like they were scammed millions of zloty from a Nigerian.
Thanks

Does the embassy accept statements from Microfinance banks? Kuda

Thank you for your response.

1. Duration of Study is 2 years.

2. In terms of home times I have 2 landed properties and a registered startup business, also plan to finalize my court marriage before leaving, but she won't be coming with me. My parents or direct relatives don't have the financial resource to stand in as a sponsor, so it might just be lump sum deposits to their accounts for this purpose which might raise some red flags. Except I used other parties and try to explain the relationship

3. 15m plus I plan to still keep my job. The duration is 2 years. Do you thing 15m is too small for POF after paying 1 year fees.

4. I think I mentioned a few home ties in my response to question 2. I also have my Pensions and other documents.

Thank you again.

I’m currently going through this as well! I do not have any family who share same name with me that can sponsor me so I plan on being self sponsored but I’m so confused. I hear they prefer you to have a sponsor!

Dear lander. I am on the verge of applying , my question is this what I am planning to study is different from what I am during currently employed in and also I am in between jobs and my admission is for a course that is not related to my current employment . What should I do as the requirements for visa needs employment letter , should I write it in SOP or advice me on what to do
Re: Polish Student Visa by AmEagle: 3:56pm On Aug 08
The VO might ask you;
* Why you're going for an entirely different course for Masters when you have a different BSc degree/Job profession. Make sure, you have genuine reason to justify why you intend changing profession.

As for requirements; If you intend to apply as a Self-Sponsor. Yes, your Employment Letter + Statements of Account of nothing less than 9M due to the current inflation + SOP is also a crucial part of the requirements.

Hello MimiNg, please I would love to speak with you if you don’t mind. I have also been admitted and I am currently trying to get a visa appointment, would really appreciate if we can communicate further.
Re: Polish Student Visa by AmEagle: 10:05am On Aug 09
If this is the case, then you do not need to worry about your current job. As a PhD student on funding, just get the necessary documents from school and your supervisor, get your accomodation sorted either by yourself or from the school (Schools in Poland usually have dormitories for PhD students).

Get appointment and apply.

Yea, i saw a lady that got her visa though her's was visit visa cos her hubby dey there, plus the fact she actually has valid Italy visa on her passport, i guess her travel experience and marriage gave her a 95% chance of getting a visa.

I saw a guy that collected his passport and credentials but his face wasn't happy when he came out.
Re: Polish Student Visa by AmEagle: 11:08am On Aug 11
This one I'm talking about is Student WIZA.

And yes, a good travel history is an added advantage.
