I mentioned the relevant law, is under the protection acts, is it because Nigerians do not sue their churches for this kind of things, you think is not covered under the Nigeria law. This is 100% legal.

Quest7777:

You are just looking at the moral point of view and not the legal.

Look, things that border on belief is entirely your right & responsibility. Many churches sell bangles, stickers, water etc claiming they have healing and supernatural powers.

If you foolishly choose to belief such claims, you are only excercising your religious rights. You can't expect the law to avenge for your foolishness.

If it were so, all these religious centres would have been closed down by Govt as Scamming centres.

Quest7777:
Lets get this clear:

-Prophet Fufeyin manufactures soap,
-sends the soap to NAFDAC for certification,
-NAFDAC certifies the soap based on the listed ingredients, that it is OK for use by Nigerians,
-Fufeyin prays over the soap and presumably impacts healing powers into the soap,
-Fufeyin puts up the soap for sale,
-Nigerians who believe Fufeyin has impacted healing powers into the soap buy the soap.

-VDM calls out Fufeyin as a Scammer
-Fufeyin sues him to court for spoiling business for him, restraining him from further speaking against the miracle soap.

My opinion:
*Nafdac only certified the soap as ordinary soap not as miracle soap so Nafdac has nothing to answer

*Court can not convict Fufeyin as a Scammer. I have never seen any pastor jailed on account of failed religious belief or prophecy.
Also it will mean all these pastors who sell Olive Oil as Anointing Oil would have been convicted.
*VDM should be careful. He stands the risk of being convicted for Defamation, cyberbullying or some other criminal charges.
*I'm not in any way justifying Fufeyin. I'm only looking at the legal perspective.
I wish you made sense.
If you buy a TV and it's not displaying videos how would you feel. Won't you scream scam? VDM took the healing water he bought to physically challenged people to heal them but none was healed so he has the right to vent the way any disappointed person would. He gave his honest review of the products he bought.

In the eyes of the law you can't also prove the originality of anything termed "spiritual ".

I hope you watched the completed video clip, didn't you see where the self acclaimed man of God said the miracle soap has NAFDAC NUMBER? So spiritual soap was taken to for a lab test and thereby certified by NAFDAC?
Definitely, the law has to prove it. Since it is certified by NAFDAC...

Nobody is being deceived. His members know exactly what they are doing and even social media will not sway them. A lot of times people tend to stick where they can get hope. Because minus that hope that pastors and prophets give (fake or original) a lot of persons would have been dead by now.

He should be allowed to sell his goods in peace. Let those that buy it decide for themselves if it works or not. Afterall he is not putting gun to anybody head to buy

Keep quoting me. I am very unapologetic on what I said. Those adults in his church choose to be there and consume his products. In the eyes of the law you can't also prove the originality of anything termed "spiritual ". Because you can't also prove that you have fulfilled the terms of engagement

So in simple terms you can't cry more than the bereaved. If people feel happy going there let them continue.

The pastor ought to have confined the sale to only his church members.
How was VDM able to get hold of it?

Honestly, just take a look at the people VDM is risking his life fighting for trying to defend the obviously fake prophet above sad. This clearly speaks volume of how the mind of an average Nigerian has been brainwashed by these so-called MOG.......

I don't believe these people defending prophet Jeremiah are being emotional, even tho I don't wanna insult anyone but I think they aren't normal at all.
Their mind works like Tinubu supporters, no more or less

I can assure you that the pastor can present 100 people in the court that will testify that the products worked for them.

Good assuming he is saying the truth that nafdac approved it, you have no case
If you carry juju soap and go to nafdac they will run tests to ascertain that the soap is safe to use and approve it

I can produce a soap and name it spiritual soap, it's just a brand name. Has Joy soap proven that their soap gives joy? So why does spiritual soap need to prove anything.

As long as nafdac approves it, he can sell it to anyone he likes

There is no legally approved non medicinal or non intoxicating product that by Nigerian law is confined to a specific set of people

The consumer protection laws don't apply to items that have to do with your religious beliefs.

If a church sells a miracle bangle to you and you excercise your faith and believe that the bangle has healing powers. If the church has committed a crime, it will also imply that you exercising faith in the bangle also committed a crime.

So if such bangle sale is a crime, you are indirectly denying people of their right to exercise their religious beliefs.

I think you are missing the point, listen to what VDM is saying, anything nafdac approves must have the content ie all the chemicals used in producing it written on it, check your own soap. However there is nowhere it is displayed on it meaning it is not approved by NAFDAC, even pure water has NAFDAC number.

Lol
Joy soap advertises joy in the use of their soap
Some even advertise flying when u use there product. So when you drink Supa commando do you fly
When you brush with close up does your teeth sparkle like they advertise?
When you Plat sporty bet do you always win like they make it look?

The little I know about miracles in the Bible more than 80% of them came with formulas. Wash in the river, strike the rock, anoint his head, mold a clay, etc

Don't ask me if I am a Christian, raise Bible points if you wish

And if I believe in the miracle water then u are joking

Wrong example you used there, Bangle do not need NAFDAC number as it is not termed consumable. Water and Soap are consumable as using them can cause distress or harm

Christ embassy did not learn anything. They are expanding more sef.. the west are still very religious. Trump said God's miracle saved his life and he got a thunderous applause.
Vdm has no case as long as nafdac approved the water and soap

Do you know this law is ambiguous, I have seen where a pastor has been arrested for "obtaining by false pretense( section 419)" because of fake prophecy?

Church shouldn't be a commercial place, once you turned your church to a commercial place, the consumer protection law will be applicable.
