naptu2: This bastard of a man is been used by external forces to destabilize Nigeria as visibly shown during the flopped protest, and he is also been used by internal forces to incite looting, destruction of life and property with the intention of truncating democracy by inviting the military to take over, since they - Atikuthief and PandoraObi failed to win democratically. He and his cohorts and zombie followers will still be disgraced and put to shame. |

Sowore misleading simple people. Protest should be against the root of all evils in Nigeria, thst is 1999 constitution. He knows it, why is he not focusing on that? |

Eriokanmi: Gbam. Thank you very much. And thats actually a very very important thing. As things stand, Bola Tinubu will face an uphill task in any future election in Nigeria. To say that he has become unpopular is an understatement: the population now see him as their enemy. Now I know that this man does not care because of the arrogance of power - he will attempt to swindle his way as usual, and Nigeria being what it is, he jolly well may succeed. Another problem is that one cannot trust the Nigerian electorate: it has proven its stupidity too many times. It has the ignominous habit of going to lick up what it has vomitted also. Nonetheless, whatever the case may be, 2027 has become far less sure for the frog eyed antediluvian cripple fouling up the air in Aso Rock at this time. 1 Like |

NonnyDot:Go on with your protest, I owe you no "RIP" if you are shot on sight or via accidental discharge. Compensation your family will get for killing you will not buy two bags of rice, and if I find out my money is even part of one given to your family for compensation, I would mind getting lawyer to get my own change for me because you decided to use your brain as a walking stick instead. I don't pray death for you, it is not your portion; I am only warning you not to shorten your life span for someone like Sowore indirectly fighting political interest over his consistent losses |

Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by worksmart(m): 4:41pm On Aug 11 |
This man is indirectly working for Tinubu. Why would he make this statement as if to imply the protest has ended. Tinubu has secured a total blackout on coverage of the protests on Tv newspapers and online. That does not mean the protest is not continuing. Protestors must change tact . I suggest 24-7 protest, with no meeting points in particular , just remain on the streets day and night, using chants and whistles to let everyone know . Make the streets (especially of Abuja) your new home and if you can do your chanting and whistling any time of the day that you are able to. Every Nigerian should trek or bus to Abuja now and simply remain on any street chanting and whistling 1 Like 1 Share |

bluefilm: Those your Eebo blodas are cowards like their master, Agulu Obi. They cannot protest against the evil things that happen daily in their cursed region , but are waiting for the opportunity destroy our infrastructures in South West in the name of protest. I have distributed koboko to my boys to flog any flat heads that cause chaos in our land in the name of protest. It seems someone told them about my plan because they didn't come out during the last protest |

DeepSight:Nigeria currently does not have the capacity to defend the naira against the dollar by pegging. How many dollars una think say una get Or do you manufacture dollars |
Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by BondRiv: 5:03pm On Aug 11 |
Better be guided. It seems you want to become another Nnamdi Kanu. Come back to Nigeria and lead the protest. You guys don't protest, you riot. That's the problem. |
Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by DeepSight(m): 5:07pm On Aug 11 |
Proudlyngwa: When governments do this, they are not necessarily "defending" the currency by throwing dollars into the system. Pegging is a different concept altogether and operates more closely to fiat. It is not unknown in the world. Here are some examples of countries with pegged exchange rates: Pegged to the US Dollar: Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates Caribbean: Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) Africa: Djibouti, Eritrea Asia: Hong Kong 1 Like |
Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by Proudlyngwa(m): 5:16pm On Aug 11 |
DeepSight: I did not say Nigeria does not have the capacity to peg the dollar, i said nigeria does not have the capacity to defend the naira at the rate which you guys want it pegged. Pegging will lead to artificial scarcity which will lead to roundtripping which willl still increase the dollar. Allow market forces determine price |
Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by Eriokanmi: 5:21pm On Aug 11 |
DeepSight:Go and ask Jonathan. Despite his spending spree and power of incumbency, when things were still better, he still lost. Don't forget that in a hurry. He may get some consolatory votes in the South West, excluding lagos, but certainly not in the remaining parts of Nigeria. It will he worse in the north, even if he bribes them more than Jonathan did |
Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by DeepSight(m): 5:27pm On Aug 11 |
Proudlyngwa: There is a way it can be orchestrated to avoid this and it will settle after a while around the pegged price, even the black markets will settle around it. |

Re: Protests Will Resume On October 1 - Omoyele Sowore by DeepSight(m): 5:32pm On Aug 11 |
Eriokanmi: Amen. I realy hope so. But you see the thing is this. This guy is not gentleman mumu Jonathan. This guy is a proper gangstar. So this guy may not be interested in buying votes or anything. This guy will get the INEC Chair to announce the results he wants even if only his wife voted for him. And he will use frog eyes and look at everybody and say yes? What can you do? Do your worst. That is what I suspect of this guy. |
