I wanted to see the tactics, the options, the buildup play, chance creation and identity. I think so far, there's a lot to look forward to.

I was told that Maresca is a tactical dogged-head but everything I have seen so far says the opposite. He's quite flexible with tactics, seems to be aware the minute things require changing and takes action asap.

Maybe we will not win our first game against City (I think we will still not be ready), but I am prepared to see how we grow over the next 15 games after that.

I am not sure if you remember, but when he was hired, the news reported that he was the one who came into the interview with full understanding of each player and how he would deploy them. I didn't get it at the time, but the PS has now made this clear.

Why shouldn't Neto start? I will use him to keep City's flanks at bay, while Guiu press their defence into the stands.

Nkunku and Jackson may come in, second half.
