Jesus and the year 1914!

Watchtower says the four horsemen began their figurative ride in 1914, and that one of them represents the wars including WWI and WWII.

Jesus did say in the gospels that before the end comes there would be wars and reports of wars, "But the end is not yet."

The red horseman of Revelation is not figurative of human wars. Jehovah always gives a warning first when he sends discipline. Those wars of WWI and WWII were not judgments from Jehovah.

The prophets of old, like Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Isaiah spoke of Jehovah's "four punishments" as representative of what Jehovah had warned His name people would happen if they broke their part of the covenant. They had been given many, many warnings, both by Moses and then by the prophets throughout the centuries.

The figurative "four punishments" or "four horsemen" of Revelation are showing that once Jesus takes the throne in heaven he will oversee the execution of Jehovah's discipline on the hypocritical religious institutions that are claiming to be God's name people.

The context of Revelation is a message to all the congregations claiming to be Christian. Jesus is coming back and he is making an accounting. He will pour out the figurative "plagues" on hypocritical/pharisaical Christians so that everyone will know who really is God's friend and who is actually a spiritual prostitute.

Watchtower is in a lot of trouble.
