Please how much was your closing account balance cos i'm planning a trip to SA this year though it is on an invitation from an SA citizen. Is three million Naira bank balance good enough ? And how many months bank statement do i need to submit ? Is three months bank statement okay enough ? My host is also going to send their statement of account and every other necesary details for me to attach to my application.

What is your purpose of visit and for how long? What is your relationship with your host? Is your host sponsoring your trip?
Give more details so that you can get better advice

Visa officer is required to deny any application if they suspect the applicant might not return.

You can’t use Nigerian cards except those who allow Forex payment like Providus.
Use Forex cards , Providus od those virtual
cards.

Good morning everyone, my sister got admission for a Post Doctoral fellowship in a University in South Africa.

The school is asking her to provide police clearance certificate, please where can she get it and how much does it cost?

Is it that she will walk in to any police station and tell them what she wants to do or it's an online registration.

Secondly, before going to the embassy for Visa processing. Will she do documents authentication from Ministry of Education and Foreign affairs?

If I may suggest that you go through the past 5pages of the forum please. I'm certain you'd find some important and firsthand info that might address most of your questions.
Good luck.

1. If you can demonstrate sufficient funds in your account and home ties that should not be a problem as South Africa is not as strict as USA
3. They are your dependants. It's not compulsory for them to show bank statements, a cover letter will do.
5. She also needs a passport and a visa
6. Yes. Introduction letter is a comprehensive letter explaining your overall situation in your home country to the visa officer.

if your business and bank balance is not good enough, traveling with the whole family without having any travel history will raise suspicion that will require you to demonstrate strong home ties in the form of your nature of business, how much you earn and your bank balance, kids school, your purpose of visit and traveling date. People situation are different. If the visa offer suspects you are not coming back your visa will be denied.

If your don't have sufficient ties I will suggest you travel alone first.
Ask yourself why would you want to spend so much much money just to visit South Africa.

I applied for my postdoc visa in SA since May, but it isn’t yet out. Do I need to withdraw my SA application first as I will love to come apply for it in Nigeria?

For some days now it seem the site is down. And here i am hoping that the DHA process would fast track my application for an upcoming trip in about 2 weeks

If you submitted already, it won’t affect your process.
But it should have been fixed already though.

Hello please who knows how long sticker visa takes?
It's getting to a month I submitted via vfs to lagos consulate, or any way I can reach them for update.
It's going to be my second visit, first one was via E-visa and I just want to have the sticker in my passport.

Thanks!!
