Hello good people,

I have decided to do e-hailing business with LAGRIDE. I want to pay the 700k advance payment to get their car. I learnt i will be paying 10K daily remittance for the hire purchase agreement. Aside this daily 10k, apart from their comission on each trip i make on their app(Lagride), what other payment am i expected to pay daily?

I will appreciate a thorough explanation regarding the prons and cons, and ways around it to run it successfully. I am aware of the teething period in every business, no negative energy needed. It is what i have made up my mind to do, i only need some more hints about how to run it successfully since i will still be using Uber, Bolt, and In-drive app with it.
Please i need answer to my questions bikonu

You don't need to use their app. Use bolt and uber first, then later you can move to indrive. Bolt commision is 25%, asides bonus. Uber is 20%. Indrive is 10%, but don't use indrive now, you won't understand indrive technique. You don't have to pay any other money asides the 10k installment and your commission, depending on the app. You didn't explain the deal in to to, and you already said you've made up your mind to it. So good luck!

Just make sure your papers are all complete, don't follow one way, don't run red light. Just obey rules and you will be fine. I make about 40k and more on indrive daily with about 14k fuel.

With my explanation, if you remove commission, you can pay the 10k daily and still have some few cash with you. I hope you don't have responsibilities.....like wife, children and all.

Just start bro, you will be fine. God is on your side. I love your courage to succeed. I don't have any other thing to add.

I will advice you go for other options instead of Lagride. That job seem like slavery work (a Nigerian car with lengthy repayment). With your 700k down-payment, you can get a Suzuki car from Moove (100k downpayment). Alternatively, you can also beef your budget to 1Million naira and get Gbovo Hire-Purchase for Honda Civic or Toyota Camry 2008 (tokunbo).

I believe those are better options. Best of luck.

Did you ask the guy if he had valid Insurance 3rd party ?
you guys been missing out on insurance in Lagos.
I've shared on this thread my experience with 3rd party insurance after all the fixes i still had 80K left.
Insurance company will buy you brand new bumper, brand new light not tokunbo and workmanship your Kazeem self go happy.

Secondly if its an online trip on bolt or uber you know you and your rider will be compensated? as at 2021 it was 90k each.
I know bolt wont like this.

so I thought oo and I collected only 15k from the guy thinking na minor thing and it happened in the night for safety reasons......on my way home the car gear refused to select then I open bonnet to check and realized that because of the force my battery pushed back and brake my gear switch also the force was so much that it affected my chassis and even make me hit the person in front of me too .....it was a lot of damage after doing proper accessment oo

It's the guy's 3rd party insurance that will work for you. All he had to do was to call and inform them about the accident.

Let me advise you. One comrade has stated it here.
700k is a lot of money . Its a sinking fund, once you drop it. The money is gone.
Make no mistakes, lagride is not giving you a brand new SUV. They are passing on the cars they repossessed.

Go n put your 600k in a fixed account for now. Take 100k , 50k for Moove. Get a rental car and start saving.

Join a solid Ajo or cooperative. 4k daily. In 12 months, you can get crowdfunding to buy a Honda civic with 2.8 -3m , you will get a clean naija used civic.
Don't go to Jiji, there are still families that sell their cars, make your findings.

Once you drop 700k, you have fully committed yourself.
I would rather drop 50k n start my savings gradually.
Bad as e bad on moove you will take home 7k daily after every every.

Good luck.

I thank God for you. Yesterday, I saw a video of multiple accidents on alapere caused by the brake failure of a truck., wrecked cars beyond measure.

I quickly muttered a word of gratitude to the Divine one for His mercies.

As per ridiculous fares on Indrive, it's deliberate from Indrive. I have dumped them for over a month now. I use indrive sparingly. Bolt is still the king.

God bless you for me. I am very graetful for the tips. It will help me navigate well. I said i have made up mind because i know there could be few challenges at the start, considering have not done it before, but am ready to face it cos i know God is going ahead of me.

I am married ooo and have a child, but i have a side hustle have been doing for four years now that still fetches me about 150-200k monthly. I will have to get a business partner we will be sharing that profit 60/40%, so i can face the e-hailing squarley.

Thank you very much for taking your time to explain it for me, i will be in your DM shorltly

Gbovo is highly reliable and very considerate. I referred a friend to them and he's extremely pleased with their service. The weekly payment may be high but you can't undermine the peace of mind that comes with driving to own a Tokumbo car.
I think you should check autohub for swap but their conditions fit make you run sha
