If he did appropriate a Yoruba name how does that change the fact that he is of Nigerian origin be it Itshekiri, Idoma, Yoruba or Igbo.

The point is that it is of no relevance if this individual is of Igbo extract or Yoruba extract. It is obvious the contention with the South Africans is that he is of Nigerian origin. They could careless if he was from either ethnic stuck.

What is actually relevant is if indeed Chidinma is his child which a DNA test would clear that up.

As far as condoning a behaviour I would challenge you to look deep into 90% of any Nigerians application for a visa or any would be immigrant and find where there is not a hint of discrepancy in it.

I logged back on this Website and saw a newly created thread by @Naptu2 indicating that the 23-year-old girl Chidimma has agreed to take part in a "Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant" organized by the iconic Ben Murray-Bruce. What intrigued me is that a LOT of uninformed posters on that newly created NL thread with the Web link BELOW do NOT realize that this girl's father is NOT a Yoruba man but a FULL-BLOODED Ibo from Enugu State like I indicated above based on EVIDENCE from South Africa that's in the public domain. I just got back to this Website after a few days of staying off while dealing with an eclectic mix of issues.

I will say here and now that the South Africans were indeed very justified to have further probed the dodgy background of this girl's family and were certainly NOT xenophobic here because I know a lot of South Africans who ALSO supported that 23-year-old Chidimma girl until more damning revelations came out in torrents about her family and her Mozambican mother's identify theft years back.

Indeed, Chidimma's father [the so-called Chief Michael "Adetshina"] also has a DODGY identify like you and I (and others on this thread since) rightly suspected last week, when taking into consideration the FACT that he has NOW been conclusively identified as being of Ibo (Igbo) ethnic origin from Enugu State and the current surname ["Adetshina"] with the letters "T" and "H" which his family is currently using was lifted from the popular Yoruba ethnic name [ADESINA] which he obviously FORGED and these FACTS and more are NOW in the public domain. He definitely was involved in some immigration and ID fraud when he moved to South Africa.

The law will have to take it's cause from here on out and this should be a lesson to those who engage in identity theft and immigration fraud in the desperation to get into another country while searching for the golden fleece. Period.

The South African authorities already know these FACTS and are investigating all the evidence tbh. He was absolutely UNWISE and had NO right to have allowed Chidimma, his 23-year-old daughter to have taken part in that Miss South Africa contest audition and screening knowing full well that he has a dodgy background and identity (alongside his Mozambican wife who the South African Home Affairs Department and law enforcement agencies have already established to have been involved in identity theft years back).

In politics and beauty contestants such as this Miss South Africa contest for instance, background checks are usually done to unravel any discrepancies and that's what has ultimately happened in this girl's case.

The law will have to take its course.
