onile1975: Must it be a fresh account or can one use an existing account? I intend to start building my account also. I have a fixed amount in the account I intend to use but I withdrawn a large sum recently and I feel that might affect me. I intend to start building up this month. |

onile1975: The 3million will be red flag. N2.5m is not adequate for this trip. You need at least twice that sum of money. |

"Hello Nairalanders, I'm planning to apply for a UK Visitor Visa and I want to know if my bank account balance is sufficient. I have a closing balance of ₦8million in my statement of account. Is this amount too much or just right to demonstrate my financial capability to support myself during my stay in the UK? Should I reduce it to a lower amount, considering the current exchange rate? Please share your experiences and advice. Will having such a large amount in my account raise any red flags during the visa application process? |

bumluchi: Their 15working days will end this week and mine as well. I’m trying hard not to panic cos my friends that also applied around the same time got their visa within 5days and it was standard visa o not priority. I don’t know why they want to exhaust the whole 15days on my own case. I just hope this doesn’t pass 15days o like some stories i am seeing here. 1 Like |

onile1975:Best way to build account is to put huge sum the first month. Put the 3 million first month then start your normal 6 months deposit of 600k and print out the 6 months which will not show the 3 million deposited 3 Likes 1 Share |

You should not apply the 3rd time without being double sure, otherwise u will be banned…… you’ve made it too complicated by urself.. Eliezer28: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 9:29am On Aug 14 |
Eliezer28:In what world would an uncle appear as the father on a child’s birth certificate? Not even grandfather… you said uncle. Never ever heard of this. Your child has a biological father and as long as the father is not travelling and you have not provided a court order saying you have sole custody of the child, what really do you want them to do? Her sister was granted. Is her sister not the biological child of you and your husband? Is this index child your husband’s biological child? No. So please provide sole custody order granted to you or the death certificate of her biological father or DNA test proving her uncle is her father.. Already you have given them 2 different tales in the previous applications, I would tread lightly if I were you with further lies. You have also been saying on this thread that they have been delaying… this is a very complicated issue as you further went onto complicate it with untruths and my guess is that they were doing further checks. They need the truth. That is all. |
