I think I got what you mean, like if you can just start your application while waiting for POF to complete, I think so, I may be wrong though.

keeplurkingx:
So application can start only after the 28th day?

From experience, British Airways is good. I’ve not flown with Turkish before.

From reviews, the only airline I see that gets such a bad rep is Royal Air Maroc

Yes, I also saw that BA have competitive prices too.

My last experience with Turkish was not nice. BA will get you to your destination fast but not a great airline and overly pricey. If you don't mind the distance, try Qatar. Lovely airline and the airport @ Doha is absolutely beautiful!

I already chose Turkish before I saw this + Qatar had high prices for the date I chose.

Hello People,
Please I stay outside Lagos and would like to know, is it a must to upload TB test while applying for visa or can I upload it whenever it's ready?
I'm thinking if I can book a TB test same week I'm expecting to get a biometric appointment date, to avoid travelling to Lagos twice. Please who can advise on this.?
Secondly, who has used the below hospital for TB test? I saw it on the UKVI site as list of approved hospital and they are quite cheap.
The Consultants Practice
25 Raymond Njoku Street
Off Awolowo road
Ikoyi
Lagos
Nigeria

I also stay outside Lagos.

Here is what I did. Firstly I booked TB test at one of UKVI's TB centres online while I was still in my state of residence. Then went to Lagos a day before the test. I received my test result the next day and applied for visa immediately. Thankfully I got a biometric self service date a few days after I did my visa application (I don't know if I got a biometric date quickly because I used the VI TLS which isn't free). After I did my biometrics, I left the next day. All this took me 7 days. The days Should have been less if I was able to sort my virtual card quickly.

Just make sure you plan the whole process well.

What's the best answer to this when filling the visa form

It’s also worth mentioning that international physics trainee teachers are entitled to a £30,000 tax free scholarship from the UK government. I did PGCE biology course and I got a sponsorship job 3 months before the end of my course.

As physics tutors are in shortage here in the UK, you can look into applying for PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Physics as Physics teachers are in high demand and you can comfortably get a skilled worker visa sponsorship after graduation and still later do your IT certifications by the side. Even as a student, you can be teaching Physics online earning over £20 per hour.

By the way, I graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge (Msc. Clinical Child Psychology).

Many Nigerians who came to the UK for their postgraduate studies, chose wrong courses and ended up doing care and warehouse jobs after graduation.

Wow,, I can't believe I applied for police character certificate online yesterday, went for biometrics today and got it already. Nigeria is becoming better BUT some bad eggs are still in the system.
I got there today n was directed to the office. Along the way as I'm moving different people were asking " who is helping you, who did you pay to" I said I did it myself. Getting to the office area two police officers sat at the corridor and beckoned. The elderly man asked which office I was going to I told him. Then he said give this woman 10k I said oga I don't have . He said jokingly if you don't have 10k then you will have 20k now. I said I don't have any, that if I had he wouldn't even ask me before I dash him then I turned into joke with him ,I also told him I've paid online so he knew I'm aware not to pay anything extra. Then he said ok go to the office whether the people there will be willing to do it without taking anything. I got to rhe office did my Bio and the man said madam you can go. The people inside the Possap office were on muftis. You see those police in uniform many of them are thieves. As I came out he saw two ladies going for the same thing and quicky hijacked them. They should find a way to flush such officers out of the system.
hello good morning.. please which site U used for police character? And what are the requirements and how much is the cost..

TB Certificate is only for Visa Application. Has nothing to do with Point of Entry. If you’re having doubt, Contact your university Welfare n Immigration team.

Please provide the following documents:

Official, verifiable documents to demonstrate what you have been doing since your graduation in 2019.

This should be in English or a certified translation and for exampl,e be in the form of Payslips/employment letters with contact details on them / bank statements with regular salary being deposited / employment contracts / further education certificates and should not just be a CV.

So I submitted
-NYSC certificate and bank statements showing regular income from Nysc
-Employment letter from a previous place of employment and Reference salaries were paid in hand at this job
- I was in civil service from 2014 to 2022 gave a bank statement showing salaries from 2019 to 2022 i don't have any payslips
-Travel history was mentioned in the application so I gave a letter of explanation covering my trips and reasons for travel

Hello people
Please how much is IHS for 1year program
How do I pay for IHS and Visa fees from naira account? Or what are the best payments options.

Also while filling the visa application, I have not seen where work experience or activities over the years is asked. Which section am I to put the information? I'm confused here or have I not reached there yet? I'm at the stage of IHS fee request.

IHS fee for 1 year program is 1154( in pounds), visa fee is 490(in pounds), however you will be charged in USD depending on the prevailing pounds to dollar exchange rate. [ This is subject to fluctuations].
You CANNOT pay with your naira card.
Open a domiciliary account, fund it, and use it to make payment.
Secondly, while filing your visa application form, you will be redirected to make payment for ihs and visa fees and select a centre for biometrics.
You will be redirected to Tls contact website where you pick a date for biometrics and pay for an appointment. It is on this website that you will upload your documents. There is a section for work experience, where you upload work references, employment letters etc.
My advice: Get someone who is knowledgeable to file in your application to avoid errors if you are not using an agent. Goodluck.

You don’t need to tackle anything.
Just declare it and submit the appropriate documents.
If you have a study gap, provide documents showing what you having been doing since graduation.

Thank you for your response.

I need your advice on a matter. I work with local government, and my appointment letter lists a lower annual salary. Is it advisable to submit this appointment letter? My promotion letters from 2009 to the present do not mention any salary. I’m considering submitting only the promotion letters to show the study gap as I’m concerned that the appointment letter with the lower salary might be a red flag.

Thank you.
