Buhari’s government lied about not paying subsidy for Petroleum products. Tinubu knee jerky first act was to also lied to a nation about cessation of fuel subsidy payments. Meanwhile, Nigeria has been under a rip off the same subsidy removal corruption under him. Yet demented zombies are defending these criminals and criminality.

"The Buhari that came to power roughly eight years ago was packaged as someone who had it in him to exercise the self-restraints necessary to administer a dysfunctional country like Nigeria. For a benighted nation, the thought of having a president with integrity and self-discipline was alluring. No thanks to Buhari and his legendary incompetence, we now know better.

Meanwhile, the same people who packaged his myth are back in the market. Now they are promising that 2023 will bring “renewed hope.” We have moved from the taglines of ‘integrity’ and ‘anti-corruption’ to “builder of city” and “builder of men.”

That is how they will tell you that another messiah is on the way until somewhere down the line when the scam will unravel, first, through the failures of such leader; and second, through the person’s garrulous admission that none of what they told you was ever true.

With this kind of data, some nincompoop that has no sense and sensibility was demanding that subsidy should be reintroduced in full as part of their demand during the ill conceived protest.

Do you believe subsidy is a scam just like the ignorant Buhari?
Or you think it should be sustained or scrapped?

how do you confirm that the data is real?

how are you sure it is correct?

has there been an independent audit of the fuel subsidy to ascertain if it is indeed being managed properly?

did tinubu not once demand for subsidy not to be removed? are you now saying that he is a noncompoop?

if the government is not corrupt and is transparent subsidy would have been beneficial. its like a loan since the fuel should be used for activities that spur economic growth. we are not thinking
