Looks more like a strategic buyer or portfolio manager or market maker mopping up available offers.

With 11,753,208 units changing hands in 268 trades that is an average of 43,855 units per transaction. Average transaction cost at N43.3 going rate for today is N1.9 million.

OANDO is surely one of the most liquid stocks on the NGX over the last 2 years.

Picture below: Bids on queue before trade open today at 10am not yet filled on the left. And currently executed trades on the right.

God saved you. Please don't always listen to monkey Hunters. OANDO don cast was put forward to cause fear and push the price low for them to buy again after selling.

For me, I thank God for those that panicked and sold as it made me buy cheaper than I expected. Sold at #48 and dividend the money into three, bought 1/3 at #41, bought another 1/3 at #34 and another at #29. And today we are back to #43. That is how we roll. OANDO will go places

Okay let me share with you a secret. The best way to use this platform is to realize that people view the stock market from different perspectives. Some are value investors that wait for yearly dividends, some do growth stocks that sell stocks where the prices happen to go high, some do trading by buying a stock that they believe will increase and sell once they hit their target. Some are a mix of 2 or the 3. I will not also forget those or the guy who does data analysis with advanced Python.

Then there are some that don't do any indept analysis but they sort of have intuition for what they do, so they may tell A or B may happen but they cannot fully explain why they say so, yet sometimes events will prove them right. That is where you start hearing things like street, spiritual, common sense and sentimental analysis.

Most value investors will not touch Oando by a long pole based on their fundamental details at this time, but growth and traders who are more susceptible to risk will be more disposed to stocks like that.

If you stay here long enough, you will be able to guess with higher probability the different investing philosophies of the different people who make comments. So, if a value investor talks down on Oando, rather than folks taking it to heart, just switch to growth or trader perspective and see if it aligns with what you want.

That is how I look at it. To put it in perspective, there are various car mechanics but if you have a Benz, you are likely to get the best advice from a mechanic experienced in Mecedes benz, if you have a Ford, same thing, even you have a japs, then more general purpose mechanic may be of help.

One way to be in the middle is to divide your portfolio into the 3 major investment types, that way, when you are taking a risk, you know you are doing it with funds that is risk friendly.

I hope this helps.

Are you minding them grin. There is still subsidy , the only difference now is that government is the sole importer , so individuals can't claim any money from government dubiously. So government will clandestinely steal government money to pay government subsidy grin.

Good classifications and put succinctly there @ojesymsym. All investment carries risk; capital growth or traders carry same risks as those of FA. Experienced FA & TA will have similar risk tolerance.

Is it also possible that a broker with sell orders from one client can sell to another of his clients no matter where that client's order is in the queue. I got some units sold to me today even though I was not at the top of the queue. I am suspecting that maybe those shares came from my broker.
