Most times we talk about our gains not considering our losses, no fund manager in Nigeria has delivered a compounded annualized portfolio return of 22% over a period of 10 years 1 Like |

Choiceguy:Very funny. It is good to have many active income. My first buy of bond was sukuk at 13 percent.I have received 3 yrs coupon on it for 10 yr maturity. That one na wale ground father loot I believe TB was during gej at 18%. Fixed income is place to invest for stress free income from physical hustle .That is why we don't touch it because active businesses dey bring cash. Then I mentioned June and July.Go check when I was buying second batch of oando at #15..lol.The loot from oando will all go into presco. before wale can scam my type again. He did it in the past but it can not happen again. And bro I am not planning to retire at old age from active hustle. The 60 yrs thing by government standard na old age for my side of thought 3 Likes |

Agbalowomeri: The over all baba ijebu garri master. We are following your footsteps. Like I said somewhere here the other day, I read through all the pages here and I came across where you subtly said that the difference between 1million and 1billion is doubling the initial 1million every year and in the tenth year, it will become 1billion . I have decided to try that experiment, so I opened another account with another broker last year and moved one million into it and I will only be trading it once or twice a year like you do . May God help my soul 8 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Agbalowomeri: 6:56pm On Aug 20 |
emmanuelewumi: No one can say the time but with experience you know it would come between 1-2 years. As long as your loss is zero, it is not difficult to achieve even 50% annualized. Sometimes you get 100%, some years no trade sef, sometimes if you are lucky with your timing, you get 200% (which already covers 4 years). 2 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by MARKETJJC: 6:57pm On Aug 20 |
emmanuelewumi: But if you go through records, there is usually three or four stocks that give 💯. Either a battered company that just returned to profitability or companies that the majority owner wants to move or the one wey better deal or news/rumour meet. Just go through and you will see so 2 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: Pa Emma, you are missing the point, it is not the same stock or stocks but the same return with different stocks. Eg 2020 UCAP, AIRTEL etc did 💯; 2021 Vitaform, Guinness, UCAP etc did 💯; 2022 PZ, champions, NAHCO etc did 💯; 2023 all banks, TRANSCORP PLC, TRANSCORP hotel , Mrs, eternal, conoil etc did; 2024 OANDO, geregu, UCAP, etc did and next year ETERNA, TRANSCORPs, DANGOTE etc might do 1 Like |

emmanuelewumi: You are comparing big investment houses with billions of naira in their portfolio, with somebody who trades 5 to 50 million. They are not on the same level at all. The smaller your capital, the easier you can take advantage of volatility. Those big companies mostly use FA like Warren Buffett, and there is no high-frequency trading in Nigeria, so they can't use that approach like their peers abroad. 4 Likes |

MARKETJJC: Grregu is not up to 10 years, Transcorp did not give a 20% annualized return in 10 years. As a matter of fact the IPO of Transcorp in 2005 was N7.50k Also referring to portfolio return |
