Trying to remove spouse name from f3 application after divorce through the summary page with decree nissi evidence uploaded but after showing review , it returns the spouse name back to the list of derivatives . Nvc did not send any email why the spouse now was retained |

On Pre-interview Checklist: "Original or certified copies of birth certificates for all children of the principal applicant (even if he or she is not accompanying)." Please what is the meaning of item in bold? Is it just photocopy of original or an institution needs to stamp it as a true copy? |

Exhausted03: Na Wa ohh DHL says the visa hasn't arrived to their office yet (it's been 28 days) and that it usually takes 6 to 8 month for immigrant visas and passport to be issued/returned. Whereas the embassy said 10 working days. |

aestake: In the sheet given after the interview, US Travel docs contact was given as the helpline. They said not to contact the embassy. I've been emailing US travel docs for weeks but all they're doing is asking for each applicant's info and not replying after. Frustration led me to email the embassy (as the contact number I got online wasn't going), no response yet. I will Sha keep emailing the embassy. Thanks |

We asked during the interview, but were told that they would use the contact sheet we filled to reach out. I'm trying to login the account I just created in the new visa website as I suspect that's what's delaying, but it's quite buggy and not working. Keeps saying "User is inactive" for a new acct I just created, using "forgot password" to reset isn't working as well, nothing is being sent. I'll keep trying aestake: |

His approval happened after a few questions like: Who's calling you to the US? How long has your petitioner been in the US? When last did they come to Nigeria? His few old and recent pictures with his siblings (some with the petitioner alone) were checked alongside old letters. His wife was asked how she met him...she narrated the lovely story. His observations: Follow the given slips US embassy sends when hunting and arranging your docx. Original birth cert, or attestation to birth (you can get this online with age declaration's affidavit from a court), tax transcript of recent years, AOS are a big deal! Do not listen to anyone who can't even get access to the embassy ground (they tell you to go to a pavilion for the docx to be arranged and asking you of receipts) as you will get tricked to part with money. For example someone spent N70K printing nonsense. Lastly, if you're especially F2B, make sure your petitioner is in the US before going to the interview. Don't forget your petitioner must have a US domicile, it is a reunion visa application (F1, F3, F4, and even IRs). PS: He told me to tell you guys that Exhausted03's comments are real, so read it up. A lot of misinformation earning those guys there cash and lots of kabashing without visas at the end. My question remains, why do Nigerians bring prayer into everything and even when they have not done their bit? Right now, I am almost done with this thread...might be chipping in as I see fit. first step make a payment you will fill a form on the CEAC site after you submitted the form you will proceed to upload the require document and submit it. it will take NVC 4 weeks to 8 weeks to review your document if they are satisfy with your document you will received a letter that you are documentary quality Complete this step first. I arrived NY yesterday morning. At the port of entry I was taken to another room where I waited with other people for about 5 minutes while an officer had my passport with him. I told him I had a question and he said "ok?" I said "there used to be a huge package immigrants carried when travelling..." He said "Yes. Everything is done online now." 2 Likes |

I tried reaching out to the embassy, the numbers i got online didn't go and their bot auto-replied my email telling me to make inquires in their Visa Navigator. I did and it ultimately led me to the usvisappt website. The website was changed (26th August). The new one( usvisaappt) is not fully set up, no family based visa is listed in it yet. I got in touch with the customer service but I was told to wait till F4 is included in the site, then file a complaint about my visa & passport retrival. If I could just get in touch with the embassy I wouldn't be running this rats race which I doubt will be fruitful. Please if anyone has a number or a functional email that an actual human is in charge of, please help. My mum is sick and depressed, we lost my dad a few months ago and I just want her to leave here as soon as possible, even if we don't tag along, things are too much on her & this is all I can do to help. aestake: |
