Our politicians need to be dragged to the judgement seat of God. Shrine has nothing in it than to do evil sacrifice. |

Cj4charles: ACTUALLY, NO, YOU BRAINLESS DUNCE, TO INITIATE YOUR THIEVING, CROOKED CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM POLITICIANS, we will use AFRICAN INSTRUMENTS like the Igbo's Ofo, and the Yoruba's Opon Ifa perhaps. THAT'S WHAT OUR CULTURE IS, not this rotten vomit issuing from your dumb, colonised heads. 2 Likes |

opamoses1: It will not 'reduce' my brother. It will DISAPPEAR overnight. Guaranteed! I keep telling people that the reason Arab and European invaders ALWAYS forced their dirty religions on Africans after conquest was because they were SCARED SHITLESS of African religion and its deep spirituality. So they demonised our traditional religion and imposed their rotten religions on us because they KNEW it would destroy our spirituality and enthrone CORRUPTION to their benefit. In the 1500s when the Portuguese visited Benin City, which they described as among the world's most beautiful cities of the time, they wrote that the people lived in large, grand houses, but did not build front doors that open and shut, because the idea of somebody entering another's house to steal or rob was UNHEARD OF, and that crime was virtually non-existent. The people practiced TRADITIONAL RELIGION. Can CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM Nigerians today DARE to build a house without barbed wire massive walls and gates, never mind front doors? Is society not filled with christians and muslims who are fraudsters, corrupt thieves, kidnappers, bandits, tribalists and liars? Of what benefit are foreign religions if all they do is say you can commit atrocities and simply ''ACCEPT JESUS'' OR ''ACCEPT MUHAMMED'' and all is forgiven? Nonsense. African religion does NOT do ''forgiveness''. If you steal from the people you swore to protect, you will be DESTROYED. Until we get leaders that BAN THESE FOREIGN RELIGIONS and GO BACK AND UPDATE THEIR TRADITIONAL AFRICAN RELIGION, BUILDING TEMPLES AND EVEN PYRAMIDS TO GOD, LIKE OUR ANCESTORS DID, we will keep running around in circles, and remain an embarrassing caricature, and a disgrace before the world. 2 Likes |

Let them use it to curb the menace of herdsmen terrorising their communities in Ondo state first, even ee see the potency towards security, you can now propose it to be used during oath taking. |

chukwuibuipob: The corrupt thieves LOVE to swear on the bible and koran, because they know those books are useless, and have nothing to do with God or spirituality. In one day, you can swear on a bible, steal 5 billion dollars from the treasury, and same day use bible pages to wipe your butt after a shit, and nothing will happen to you. Go and swear with Ogun or Amadioha, and try the same thing and see how far. When we are ready to be serious in this country, we know what to do. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Prof Wande Abimbola was sworn into office as a Federal Minister by oath taking the Yoruba traditional way so it's not a new thing. Oath taking is based on your own individual faith and religious beliefs, it should remain so. |

Jamie248: When you swear with your bible, do you ask about the priests swearing you in? NO. Likewise in African religion, it's not the priest you are swearing to, but to GOD, through a POWERFUL DEITY who will ensure you stick to your oath, as there's no 'forgiveness' if you break it. It is not God that will punish you, but the deity, who works on behalf of, and is authorised by God. They are called the Orisha by Yorubas. And Alusi by Igbos. Other ethnicities have similar titles for their pantheons of deities or 'gods'. 1 Like |

jazzman7711:The same powerful religions that couldn't stop the Arab and Europeans from Overruning Africa. The same religion that claims to forsee things couldn't detect the true intent of the white men. The white men even took many of these objects of worship and confiscated them in museums for 100s of years now, and they've gone from glory to glory. One day everyone will accept none of these things work. 1 Like |
