Your friend got CLB 9 with her score, yours is likely CLB 8 (your writing score is the problem), that's why there is a difference in points. Your CLB score is about a combination of scores that is set by IRCC and NOT IELTS i.e. CLB 10 = listening (8.5)/Reading (8.0)/Speaking (7.5)/Writing (7.5) Ayolayemi: |

If you don't have it, your application will be rejected. That's how IRCC filters out ex-convicts, wanted persons and criminals from entering into Canada. Cboss: 1 Like |

Hello House. Happy Sunday! I recently came across the information about new expression of interest system for AAIP that is coming up on 30th of Sept, 2024. I have already stated my interest to Alberta via EEP for PNP since last year but no feedback yet. Please what do they mean by "As a result of this new system, AAIP will not proceed with the remaining monthly application acceptance dates for 2024 as the new system will allow for ongoing intake of expression of interest" Do I need to delete my old profile and create a new or what? Please what do they mean? Thanks.

ChikaIJ55:I got information that the New AAIP will allow for continuous intake, continuous submission and processing of expression of interest,Enabling candidates to submit expression of interest anytime, unlike the current system which fix application acceptance dates.. As a result of this new system, AAIP will not proceed with the remaining monthly application acceptance dates for 2024,since the new system will allow for continuous expression of interest anytime by candidates |

ITS PR! I am a very silent reader. Family of 4. My First IELTS was in 2020, i had a retake in 2022. PNP nomination Dec 2022 - SASKATCHWAN ITA DEC 2022. AOR - Feb, 2022 Long silence, work took to me Mogadishu, Somalia at some point, i guess that was the reason why my security clearance took time. We had medicals twice. To the glory of God, 2nd August 2024, i saw a notification of Final decision, but there was no further comment to clarify it. I put a call thru to IRCC immediately, it was a Naija(Titi) who took the call. The IRCC agent was so soothing in her words, she tactically told me everything was fine, i should be expecting the Passports submission letter. Aunty Titi of IRCC call center God bless you for your kind words that night. The mail came in 4th of August, got every necessary details and moved our passports to Nairobi the following day (No time) IRCC Nairobi stamped our passports same day VFS delivered to them as if they were waiting for us. Passports with Visas got back 19th of August. We are looking for flights now as we want to get in before the full blown winter. Please if you have accommodation connect in Saskatoon kindly get in touch (this is highly needed now) Thanks everyone for your update, especially the guide on the use of Nairobi VFS, i got all the details here. God bless and grant all our desires here. My brothers, my Sisters, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP!!! 28 Likes |

Hello everyone , please I am trying to understand how express entry works ? I have read through the website but I need more information. What’s the difference between express entry and provincial nominee program ? What are the requirements please ? What’s the best pathway for someone in Uk with Masters ? And someone with visit visa does it affect the application process and can the visit visa still be used ? |

Greetings, Kindly assist with clarification on the below language requirements. My sister obtained B2, C1, B2 and C1 in reading, listening, writing and speaking respectively in the TEF exam. she got 6.5, 6.0, 4.5 and 6.5 for speaking, listening, reading and writing respectively in ielts. Does the ielts qualify to be used as second language? From ircc website, I extracted the below screenshot. Please elders in the house, kindly clarify. thanks.

bobjob:To apply for permanent residency through Express Entry, you need to have a minimum language proficiency of CLB 7 (the Canadian Language Benchmarks), which is a minimum of 6.0 for each section of the IELTS. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by bobjob: 1:16pm On Aug 22 |
Ontarioo:I am aware of this but my question is if she can used the ielts as a second language to boost her scores since her TEF exceeds the first language requirement. From the screenshot, the minimum score level is stated for second language. I just needed to be sure. Thanks |

Also, do l need to notarize the affidavit? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Maria96: 2:01pm On Aug 22 |
meljoe: Express entry is now very competitive as they are piking those with high scores ( those who have French TEF) and people of certain occupations. Province nomination give you extra points to get invited. But you must meet the requirements of the province ( you need to read their websites to see if you qualify for any, some are based on have family members in that province, specific occupation etc) . Some UK people with care experience were picked this year from the pool. Uk masters does not give you any edge as its same points with Nigerian masters. Read more, also visit YouTube. |

“One and same person” affidavit should solve this. The notary public or court workers usually have a template for it. If it’s not too expensive it’s usually best to notarize legal documents. Cheers Tracyy122: |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by aurorae1: 6:28pm On Aug 22 |
bobjob: She can use the TEF to set up her profile and enter the pool immediately. Her score may/may not be lower than the last french draw(do check for it). She may get an invite if it's enough, if not she should still enter the pool while preparing to write another English test. 1 Like |

firelord222: If you have a NCLC 7 and above with TEF/TCF, you'll also be qualified for the french draws, regardless of it being your first or second language. 3 Likes |
