So guys, This is what I came across on twitter this morning. Apparently, South Africans are booking fake rides and they cancel when the driver is close to the pickup location. I experienced something similar yesterday in Victoria Island. Mudafuka booked me and immediately chatted me up and asked if I wanted “Jollof”(obviously a red flag) but I didn’t even understand until the idiot canceled when I told him I was getting close. Waste of fuel, time and declination of driver score will be the major problem here. Our e hailing companies need to put some sort of buffer to prevent things like this from happening. Has anyone experienced this recently ? 2 Likes

Pearl1910: Wetin my eyes don see for AC matter this year, my mouth no fit talk em finish. Still on it. On a very good day, my gas just go down. Felt there’s a leakage somewhere, so I went to the repairer place and he search thro. He couldnt see leakage checking thro the pipes. So the culprit should be the evaporator. He removed it and we weren’t crystal clear on it. Let’s just change it, he said. After 3 days of doing that, gas out again. So I calm down and check thro myself, only to realize there’s hole in the pipe the power steering oil bottle is resting on. Fixed it and use the ac like two week. Then, I start observing noise from the compressor. When it’s not on, the plate will be rolling and making some kind of funny sound. Logically, I have to use ac to stop the noise, till it became unbearable. 23k went down the drain for that. Used it for some time, but frequently have fuse cuts, till I use wire to bridge fuse on a day I was rushing to meet up with some things and the compressor fried last month. Oga compressor don go, we go buy another one, change drier and flush the system. I get choice? Ac was mad and we thank the lord. After a week, I don’t understand the blowing, top gas and after 2 days nothing. They didn’t tight this discharge hose well. Oya! Take it out and change the rubber, refill gas… I didn’t even get to Yaba from ikeja and the thing don show em color. Change ac man, he have to bring everything out. We agree to change hose and the compressor seal was leaking. Took it back to the guy that changed it and the seller told him, he can’t take it back, but will fix the leaking seal. No wahala, just make it work. Do did it and before I got home, no gas again 😂 Another man now. Let’s check the condenser. See let’s just change it, so we did. Drove from surulere to island. Perfect, my hands couldn’t even stand it. On my way back, ac did not work cha cha. I use smile enter house. Next morning, I tried it and it seem manageable, but I observe ac won’t blow while in motion, but a bit chill while in traffic. About last night, it wasn’t effective at all, but feels ok this morning. I’m suspecting the compressor, but right now strength no deh me. So anything gas need to be top? My hand no deh atall 😂 peace tho, not out to knock any man hustle. 4 Likes |

If you’re using bolt this week, try to confirm the person location even before going to pickup location. Nigerians are taking the stuff far and those rubbish southy that started it might want to continue. Make you no go burn fuel for nothing inside this scarcity o 2 Likes |

YeyeGbami: 40k I’ve spent way above 100k, but costly mistake by those guys. They don’t calm down to fix things and end up making one to fix another problem. I have bought belt twice now. One they put belt on alternator. I was just hearing that stupid sound around 10 and so tired to do anything. I managed to get the car home and by the time I drove to mech place, belt was far gone. In all of these, I come deh petty for people wey deh use Camry. I pray they don’t see ac issue. |

Toyota and Lexus comes with a service bulletin about a reoccurring issue with the upstream sensor, which is not part of what I will be talking about. Had a Lexus RX 350 and ES330 with similar issue P0171. Here are steps taken; Locating a possible air leak between the airbox and the throttle body Checking the noozle for possible leakage Lastly upstream Oxygen sensor But after all the process has been followed and fixed I always clear the errors and drive for 30 minutes. Here are the values on the Data Stream Calculated Load Value - 29.8% Engine Coolant Temp - 60⁰C Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 - -13.3% Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 - -0.8% Short term Fuel Trim Bank 2 - 20.3% Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 2 - 52.3% Note: The addition of your STFT and LTFT should not be more </> +/-10. I stand to be corrected. The likely possible solution here according to Lexus/Toyota Bulletin was to reset the ECU/Brainbox and relearn the fuel mapping. But before the relearning I decided to take a look at the issue of P0171, which is fuel and air issue and after checking the whole air line I decided to swap the PCV - Positive Crankcase Ventilation. And the error was gone after driving for 30 minutes. Picture 1 - New Oxygen Sensor Picture 2 - PCV Valve Picture 3 - Data Stream before the issue was fixed Picture 4 - Scan Code
