It's both amusing and perplexing to witness how the Nairaland platform, a space designed for people to share ideas, craft solutions, and connect with the right audience, has also become a haven for a different breed of users—those who consistently beg for money, shamelessly flaunting their account details for anyone who might care.

While many struggle and hustle to create something of value, investing their time and effort into developing skills or selling ideas, there are those who have turned begging into a lifestyle. It’s ironic, really. The platform that should be a sword of victory in the hands of the brave, an instrument for success, has instead become a tool of dependency for those who seem to have lost sight of their potential.

Consider this: if all those "2k Logo makers" were to open up about their plights, their stories might overshadow the complaints of every Ph.D. holder in the "College of Begging." The irony deepens when we realize that a majority of these beggars are based in Lagos—the very city known as a land of opportunity, flowing not just with milk and honey, but with real prospects for those willing to work for it.

Lagos, with its hustle and bustle, is a place where dreams can come true, where opportunities abound. Yet, it's disheartening to see that some choose the easy way out, asking for handouts rather than seeking ways to contribute value. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but it's a reality we must confront.

Let’s take a moment to salute and appreciate every man and woman out there who, instead of begging, are thinking of ways to add value to the world. They are the true heroes, the ones who understand that thorns of opportunity await those who are willing to work for them.

To all those hustlers, innovators, and creators—cheers! The road may be tough, but the reward is far sweeter when it is earned, not begged for.

It started with the "Give away" crew.

They opened this forum to every opportunistic shameless beggar .

I even hold the scammers in high respect compared to those shameless beggars. At least those ones putting in work.

Yes, the shameless beggars beggar belief with their relentless pressure on Pellow Kwantirimans in the hallowed chambers of this here forum.

Some are begging for money.

Some are begging for pussy.

Some beg for free advice, while others beg to differ.

God breast Nigeria, and by the way, if you enjoyed this post, send your ten naira donation to my "help me buy good weed" fund today.

The worst part is, they will create multiple monikers to beg, scam and troll. The likes of NnamdiPapa aka Sp1ritHusband aka Cockpit...Then there is also another moniker, JobAndVacancies who are all Nairaland resident beggars, scammers and trolls.
