Toney is among the options Chelsea are looking at if Osimhen’s deal doesn’t go through

Their number 1 target is Osimhen

Dude 😎 that's an assumption look at commentary by pundits.

First thing said about Toney is he is tried, tested and proven in the EPL. So you know exactly what you are getting. In addition Toney plays a very good link 🔗 up
game.

VO is where the EPL concerned a risk he has had only one outstanding season in his football ⚽ career with great potential to go further.

Chelsea are talking to both VO and Toney .

Although Toney is also talking to Manchester United.

Nonetheless, Napoli want to cash in on VO they don't need Lukaku and VO at the same time.

I think Napoli are just posturing and are desperate to sell VO, and VO is not ready to drop his wages.

It's interesting and highly unpredictable let's see 🙈 what happens.

🇳🇬 EXCL: Al Ahli management set to travel to Italy today to advance in talks with Victor Osimhen.

🔵👀 Nothing changed yet as Chelsea REMAIN in talks with Osimhen over personal terms/salary.

Osimhen-Al Ahli, ONLY possible if #CFC are not able to agree on terms with Victor.

what’s an assumption? Are u sure you have been following Osimhen’s transfer saga or waiting to jump into undue argument just to denigrate him?

If chelsea wanted toney as their top priority they would hv signed him since

stop cropping and posting this nonsense. Man united have no interest in toney, while chelsea hv an interest he isn’t their top priority for the cf position but Osimhen

Toney is seen as a plan B if Osimhen doesn’t mk the move to Stamford bridge

Sorry for the late reply. If your definition of tribalism in this context is related to "a tendency to lean towards one player or another based on their tribe in Nigeria" then I would say I don't remember any of your opinions that fit this description. Of course, there's the long-standing sentiment that you lean toward English-born players. This sentiment is fair though, as there's history to back it up. It is also not an unreasonable bias on your part if you currently reside in the UK or have done so. I mean anyone would be more aware of their immediate environment. There are other reasons I think you have been doing this though.

However, I maintain that tribalism is not a bad thing, and shouldn't be painted as such, but I get the irony it creates in the Nigerian context.

I have been involved in British football ⚽ but more so English football ⚽.

I go to lots of games including youth games primarily in England but across Europe as well.

I've known players from the age of 9/10 who are in the EPL now . I am much more talking about player's I've watched up close and personal, even know personally as well knowong their coaches and agents.

I would call that knowledge not bias or leaning towards. And that knowledge is primarily in regards to players in England.

Finally I never left Nigeria 🇳🇬 I came to Nigeria, born in the UK but made in Warri .

Oh yes still reside in England but will be in Nigeria next month, unless this monkey 🐒 pox thing get out of hand .

Then there may be restrictions put on travel 🧳 to sub Saharan Africa

You can say the exact same thing about VO , first it was Arsenal, then Manchester United now it's Chelsea left.

Why haven't Chelsea signed VO since ❓

There are 48 hours left of transfer activity anything can happen.

All the various print media listed below who have very good journalistic pedigree must be talking nonsense. And you in Nigeria know a lot more than they do.

Omo Saudi people dey vex ooo, how can you bring such humongous amount of money for one person...

If na another player like Ejuke, Dessers, iheanacho etc I will say Saudi straight. Nothing bad in collecting money.

But Osimhen, APOTY, 8th D'or. Nigeria first choice no 9, under 17 golden boot winner. U. 17 world cup winner, African qualifier Highest goal scorer, Scudetto winner, caponnierieWatever winner, king of Naples, king of Lagos, Starboy of starboys, Saudi is beneath us to be honest. We need the whole world to watch him in BIG SCREEN. HIGH DEFINITION... After one season of wonderment, chelsea will do an extention and give him a befitting salary for KINGS....

🚨🇸🇦 Understand Al Ahli proposal to Victor Osimhen includes a release clause, crucial point requested by the Nigerian striker.

Talks will continue in person with Al Ahli management in Italy for direct talks…

…while Chelsea keep negotiating on contract terms with Victor. 🔵👀

#Fabrizio

It seem the Saudis re back well prepared this time 😳

I beg to ask, why chiesa so cheap?? I remembered juve paid about 50 Mila to fiorentina in 2020.

I spent some time going through articles from his time at Hoffenheim. The only thing i would say is that he has "modern ideas"

I think he is set up to fail. Except he has been watching SE games and he already has a formula, I can only see him going through a very dark tunnel.

Sequel to our discussion here on the awards to the most detribalized Nigerians on this football thread, l would like to inform us that the price is now 200k and not 150k as intitially proposed. This is to enable every winner to atleast have something tangible given the galloping inflation in our country.
Thus, l am calling on @ TheSuperNerd,Charlesemeka, humility33, Chriskels, Majoribanks..etc and all those actively involved then on the discussions to expedite action and give us the 3 nominees as the thread decided.
Or, better still, provide an account number for me to transfer the money asap, because we are entering the Ember months and we all know how it happens with expenses.
Thanks
