Oando is a great long term stock. No matter what the sentiment or fundamentals say, Oando fair price is around ₦150 - ₦200. That is the price it will settle.

The stock has no business staying below ₦100.

If so, then why sell Oando now ?

So what did you use to arrive at the fair value since what fundamentals or sentiments says is not necessary. Did you consult an oracle

why.?Is because you mentioned sugar/salt.Thr is reason alhaji is a rich guy.The third and last quarter will tell more on sugar. One of the problem with breweries is that apc government has really been fighting it.The sugar major loss is not yet realised. If it becomes that bad.Alhaji will never throw in the shareholders. He did it with flour that worth nothing at that time.He paid us #24.I don't see sugar going below 30...my opinion. Alhaji believes strongly in that company based on so many reasons. And government policy favours that sector not like alcohol being destroyed in the North

From my point of view, I think dangfood may be approved next year, but the month and quarter is what I know not

If no news about the food any moment soon... Any further loss from sugar/salt might not be funny in the price correction further

But it's opportunity for discerning investors to do the needful

They also assist with down payment for properties, so by the time they pay mortgage for 20 to 25 years they will finally own the property and are in a better position compared to those paying rents for 20 to 25 years.

All these will give the children a quick headstart.

What do you expect an 80 year old who is making over N30 million per annum based on smart financial decisions made in his youth with his money, rather than spending it on his grandchildren and relieve financial pressure on his children

That headstart makes a huge difference.

Run away from anything wealth.ng.

Zero customer support
Late payment of Dividend.
Outdated platform.

You don't have a CSCS Account (They buy in bulk and "share".

If anything happen to them, your money is stuck.

Oando cannot command the same sentiments in South Africa as in Nigeria because South Africans do not know crude oil as we do.
Is there anybody here who cannot point at one billionaire or more from his State who are rumored to have made it through the "lifting of crude oil" ?
Nigeria is a petro-dollar nation, SA is not, to my awareness. So many Nigerians who have grown tired of dreaming of laying hand on NNPC Term Contract to market crude oil, let alone grabbing an oil block, are seizing opportunity to snap up the shares of Oando while it's still affordable.
The South Africans, meanwhile, are probably disecting Oando through Ewumi-style forensic analysis and, seeing no dividends in the near term, are valueing it accordingly.

When Oando shall start dishing out dividends, it may be highly profitable for dividend hunters to to go and load it that place because I believe the payouts will be the same in currency equivalence giving that the buy out proposal for the attempted Delisting was the same 7.07 or equivalent.

It will be good to know the traded volume in JSE. Perhaps insignificant volumes. Which means big holders are not selling but watching. But perhaps a few holders for whatever reasons dispose as the need arises.

The picture from investing.com shows when thousands get traded in JSE when trades occur on a weekly basis if they occur. Millions change hands in NSE

There is another one called sixth-sense analysis. It is higher than all these others, including street-sense analysis.

(1) 50,000 barrels of crude oil daily.
(2) Unknown trillion cubic feet of gas.
(3) 1,490 kilometres of pipelines.
(4) 3 Gas Processing Plants.
(5) The Brass River Oil Terminal.
(6) The KwaleOkpai power plants with a combined capacity of 960 MW.
(Geregu= 435 MW by contrast) .
(7) Top Guy possible connection.

Please note that item No. 7 alone is a thermonuclear fundamental strength in itself.

Note also that the Afreximbank does not hand out $783 million lightly, or to all comers, but must have conducted a thermonuclear due diligence before funding these acquisitions.

Oando at #200 is ground floor, by sixth sense analysis.
